Kanye West Has Reportedly Canceled His New York Fashion Week Show

Tom Ford made his triumphant (and very sexy) return to New York Fashion Week last night. But as blogs fill up with glittering images from the show, there's another pressing story—make that, rumor—dominating the fashion week buzz: Has Kanye West canceled this season's presentation?

It's not unusual for the Yeezy designer to leave people guessing. There was, you may recall, that Season 4 thing where he asked fashion editors to meet up in Midtown, only to be transported to Roosevelt Island. What ensued, was—oh, how can we put this...

After what we can only refer to as the 'Ye incident, Kanye's last Fashion Week showing was lower key—and much smoother sailing. The Season 5 presentation was also surrounded in mystery too, though, with a no social-media rule firmly in place.

And speaking of mystery, what's going on with Season 6? According to multiple reports, there will be no Yeezy presentation this NYFW. (Cue screaming emojis.) None of the rumors are confirmed, mind you. But, The Business of Fashion has it that the designer initially planned on showing on September 13, then canceled his presentation without any more info as to why. In response to the piece, Adidas issued an official statement that, well, didn't really provide any insight.

"No announcements regarding a Yeezy Season 6 presentation have been made by West Brands, Kanye West, or Adidas. Any information being reported at this time is merely speculation," the statement said. Also, E! News has it that there never was a show to begin with.

Guys, we don't know what to believe.
