After Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her Paris apartment and robbed of $10 million in jewelry, she got out of Paris as fast as possible. And with her level of resources, it was not only possible to return home quickly, but also surrounded by a bubble of security the likes of which is usually reserved for presidents and heads of state.
The reality star fled Paris in a private jet after the robbery. Once back in the U.S., Kim, Kanye West, Kris Jenner, and Kris' boyfriend Corey Gamble pulled up outside their home in New York. They did so amid "a caravan of about 10 vehicles with 15 to 20 bodyguards watching everything and everyone in the area" according to a TMZ report and video.
The New York Police Department was also present. It was a scene not unlike a presidential motorcade; indeed TMZ called it a "presidential-level" show of security force.
The outlet also reported that Kim's bodyguard Pascal Duvier — often present in her photos — was with the group.
However, he was not present during the time of the crime in Paris.
