Kim Kardashian Planning On Skipping Fundraising Gala In Honor Of Her Late Father
The reality star is still staying low-key following the Paris robbery.
It looks like Kim Kardashian will be keeping her new low-key lifestyle for some time. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is “not expected to attend at this time” an annual cancer fundraiser in honor of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who died of cancer in 2003.
The annual fundraiser is thrown by Denise Rich and is being co-chaired by Lorraine Schwartz, who made the diamond ring the robbers in Paris stole from Kim. Sir Bob Geldof, CeeLo Green and Star Jones are among the performers and presenters at the ball, reports Page Six.
The event will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on November 21, with Kris Jenner and Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian expected to attend.
Kim has only been out in public a handful of times following the robbery at the Hôtel de Pourtalès in Paris, France, on October 3, which traumatized her. The 36-year-old, who has a daughter ,North, three, and son, Saint, 10 months, with husband Kanye West has only been to Kanye’s concerts and on a trip for frozen yogurt in the past weeks. She skipped her usual Halloween festivities.
