Kourtney Kardashian's Hardcore Detox Diet Is No Joke (No Snacking Allowed, Except for This One Food)

She's trying to stick to her detox plan for three months.

When it comes to her diet, Kourtney Kardashian is the strictest member of the KarJenner clan. She shuns gluten and dairy, eats organic, and avoids chemicals whenever possible. Her daily eating habits already sound like a pretty intense detox plan…but wait, there's more?!

Yes, Kardashian apparently has an even more hardcore version of her diet—her three-month (!) detox (if she can last that long). PEOPLE reports that she recently divulged the details of what she's been eating to clean out her body after her doctor found high levels of mercury and lead in her system.

Kourtney eats three meals a day (unlike little sis Khloe, who eats seven daily meals/snacks) that are high in protein and fatty acids and low in carbs. She usually starts off with her favorite avocado smoothie in the morning, then eats low-fat proteins and simple veggies for lunch and dinner, such as fish or chicken with cauliflower rice or broccoli. After dinner, she waits 14 to 16 hours (!!) until she's allowed to have breakfast.

Snacks are pretty much nonexistent, except occasionally she's allowed to have a handful of almonds. (Guess that's better than a cube of cheese?)

And as if that's not enough, she does a weekly 24-hour fast during which she drinks only water and bone broth.

Yikes. “I’m not going to sugarcoat it, this detox is difficult,” Kardashian said in a post on her app. Difficult? Ya think? We'd say it's pretty brutal.
