Whether it's a glam mermaid or an adorable minnie mouse look, we can always count on fashionista Lauren Conrad to churn out some stunning DIY Halloween costumes. However, the 31-year-old mom has recently decided to go a completely opposite route from her sweet aesthetic.
This year, LC decided to dress up as one of the cruelest Disney villains of them all: Cruella de Vil. The designer revealed her latest costume creation Thursday on Instagram, and this may be the chicest Cruella we've ever seen. "If she doesn't scare you no evil thing will..." she captioned the post. Conrad even got the villain's ice cold stare down pat!
Conrad also directed fans to her blog, where she reveals all the details of her wicked look. "This year I decided to go a little less sweet, and channel one of my favorite Disney villains instead: Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians," she wrote.
In addition to the costume being a modern take on the classic character, LC's look is also surprisingly easy to throw together — making it a great choice for busy moms. "I almost always make my Halloween costumes from scratch — the process usually involves cutting, sewing, and a whole lot of tulle," she explained. "But this year, I found myself with a little less time on my hands (I’m sure my fellow new mothers can relate…), so I opted for a less time consuming costume."
The new mom also planned this year's costume around her son Liam. Remember that super cute lamb suit we saw Conrad's son in recently? Well that was just the beginning of Liam's Halloween fun. For his Hallows' Eve debut, the infant will be going as a little Dalmatian. (Cue the awws.) "I knew Liam would make the most adorable Dalmatian! I can’t wait to dress him up for his first Halloween," she wrote.
We can't wait to see this adorable mother-son duo in action.
