The Real Housewives love wine. They love to drink it, they love to throw it, they love to buy elaborately-bedazzled openers for it—and sometimes they even try to produce it. (Wines by Wives, anyone?)
So it only makes sense that this installment of The Real Shelter Dogs would come from what is essentially the Real Housewives equivalent of Disneyland: Sonoma County. The Sonoma Humane Society is a no-kill shelter focused on bringing humans and animals together. They have a variety of programs to aid local animals in need and they fundraise exactly how you would imagine: with a Yappy Hour at Mutt Lynch Winery! The shelter is participating in Mutt Lynch's "Wines That Give Back" label program and designed their own wine label, with 25% of the proceeds donated back to the shelter. Mixing wine and philanthropy? The Real Housewives would be proud.
And now, grab your glass of rosé and meet your Real Shelter Dogs, complete with opening-credits worthy taglines!
