Vice President Mike Pence’s Bunny—Marlon Bundo, a.k.a. BOTUS—Gets a Book Deal

He should probably call it “What Hoppened.”

Politics are the pits, are we right? Left, right, liberal, conservative, snowflakes, deplorables, blah blah blah. Can’t we all just get along?

Okay, so maybe that’s a tall order, but we can all agree on one thing: Bunnies are cute. And that includes Vice President Mike Pence’s bunny, better known as Marlon Bundo, or BOTUS.

What's that, you say? Mom's coming home soon?!!! 😃👏🏽

The Second Family’s pet bunny has more or less stayed out of the spotlight, although he did appear in a May ceremony honoring military families at the Eisenhower Executive Office. "Marlon is kind of famous because he is the first bunny to ever ride on Air Force Two,” Second Lady Karen Pence said at the time. “He's named Marlon Bundo because he's named after a famous movie star, Marlon Brando, and because my daughter got him when she was making a movie in college, and she needed a bunny to be the star. So this notoriety is nothing new for him.”
And now, Marlon is ready to have his day in the bun—er…sun. He recently announced that he will be releasing his very first tome, a children’s book called A Day in the Live of the Vice President (to be released March 19th, available for pre-order now).
