She may not be old enough to drink — or drive a car, for that matter. But, Millie Bobby Brown is a certified style star at just 13 years old. The pint-sized Stranger Things actress has already earned a reputation for bold fashion choices on the red carpet. And, she's modeled for the likes of Calvin Klein and Converse.
The fashion prodigy recently sat down with InStyle to talk about her famous wardrobe. For the accompanying photo shoot, the actress wore a floor-sweeping, candy-pink gown by Valentino; she also dressed up in Dior Haute Couture and a massively poufy skirt from Calvin Klein by Appointment.
So, was the wunderkind nervous to pose in front fashion-industry pros, wearing thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing? No way! Brown has been watching America's Next Top Model since she was a tot, and has always been fascinated by the fine art of posing.
“Modeling is very close to my heart,” the actress told InStyle. “I feel like just taking pictures is amazing. You’ll feel if you did a good job in that shoot — or if you feel like you haven’t, then you haven’t. But some pictures turn out to be iconic, and it means so much.”
Though she's no stranger (see what we did there?) to high fashion, Brown also shops at TopShop. And, sneakers are her preferred form of footwear when she's not working. And even though the star works with a professional stylist, mom's opinions come first when it comes to her fashion choices.
“Everything I wear has to go through every person on my team,” Brown said. “It has to go through my mum first. If she approves, it’ll go to my agents, and then, obviously, the last stop is my dad — and if he doesn’t like it, then I’m not wearing it. It’s as simple as that.”
