When Sarah Jessica Parker announced that she has a forthcoming line of little black dresses, we all made a quick assumption: Finally, we can dress just like Carrie Bradshaw! Well, we're still not sure how closely the designs will mimic the character's style—SJP is only slowly releasing glimpses of the collection. But yesterday, we got another tantalizing teaser on her Instagram page.
"Recognize these ladies?," she wrote. The caption accompanies a photo of two elegant sketches, two SJP LBD tags, and a beverage. (One must get thirsty, when designing dresses.) Anyway, our immediate answer to SJP's question was: maybe?
The dress with the tiered, frothy skirt definitely calls a classic Carrie number to mind. But, Sarah Jessica has also worn the dress herself, as captured in the Instagram shot above. So, if you keep up with the actress on social media, you will indeed recognize the style. And if you need it now, you're in luck: The dress is available at Bloomingdale's for $395.
As for the second dress, we remember it from SJP's big announcement about the line; Londoners may recognize it from the appearance she made in August to promote her new fragrance, Stash. And if you're thinking duh at all of the above, congratulations: you are officially an SJP superfan.
