Ever since certain paparazzi images of Rihanna surfaced earlier this May, the singer has become a target for body-shaming across the internet. The images of Rihanna in a pair of fitted jeans and a t-shirt sparked the topic of the singer’s recent so-called "weight gain," and lately it appears that people comment on it every chance they get.
While most of the comments are mean-spirited, many people are also praising the Fenty designer's “weight gain.” Nevertheless, the “Wild Thoughts” singer has managed to remain unbothered by it all, as she should be.
As spotted by Yahoo! Style, a Instagram fan page recently posted a 2015 video of the star grabbing snacks at a gas station. In the video, the person recording can be heard teasing Rihanna for grabbing the salty chips. But the singer's best friend, Melissa Forde, was quick to come to Rih Rih’s defense. “You’re judging her—stop judging her,” she shouts.
In the comments section Rihanna humorously wrote, “Somebody called me too fat?,” followed by three laughing emojis.
That’s right Rihanna, laugh those haters away.
