Rihanna Visited the Headless Statue of Herself in Berlin, Things Got Weird

It was all very meta.

If you didn't know, now you know that there is a giant surrealist statue of Rihanna in Germany. In the larger-than-life art piece, located in Berlin, a sculptural form representative of the artist wears a bikini and tattoos — but has no head. Instead, there is a face emblazoned on the décolletage portion of the body. The statue is called "Ewaipanoma (Rihanna)," and it was the creation of Colombian artist Juan Sebastián Peláez for the Berlin Biennalle for Contemporary Art. It's weird to begin with.

Well, things got weirder when Rihanna herself visited the monument and documented the whole thing on Instagram and Snapchat. Specifically, first she pounded both beer from a bottle and champagne from a flute — at the same time.

Then she posed with some kids, and enjoyed her tour of the sculpture, posing with it while clad in a bright green miniskirt suit, a very throwback '80s look.

On Instagram, she noted the statue made her cleavage look pleasingly ample.

The whole thing is either very awesome or the stuff of nightmares, depending on your perspective on over-the-top surrealist, meta moments involving celebrities and enormous headless sculptures of themselves.
