Rosé in a Pouch Is Like Your Favorite Childhood Lunchbox Drink, But So Much Better

It's good to be a grown-up.

By Drew DiSabatino

By all accounts, this has been an outstanding summer for rosé lovers. Between gummy bears, chocolates, and forties there has been no shortage of new and inventive ways to enjoy your favorite blush-colored drink. And although there are already signs that summer is getting to its last stretch (shut up, shut up, we’re not listening) there are still plenty of hot days left to enjoy the latest in the long line of creative rosé creations: the Rosé Pouch.

Feast your eyes on this bad boy:

As Delish points out, the idea and design looks a lot like a Capri-Sun pouch, but you’ll definitely want to keep them away from children: every one of Electric Rosé Wine Co.’s brightly colored pouches pack a powerful little punch thanks to their 12.5 percent alcohol content. The website touts the creation as “the first and only, high quality, premium rosé in a SINGLE SERVE pouch,” and notes that each case contains six pouches, which hold the liquid equivalent of 1.5 bottles of wine.

The website also points out that the pouches solve many of the logistical problems typically associated with drinking on the go—eliminating any need for glassware (which isn’t permitted in many places) or cork screws, while also having the ability to chill faster than cans. And bonus: you don't have to worry about "kicking sand into your drink". (Clearly most of these solutions apply to beach drinking.)

If that’s not enough to convince you to try them out, we can also point out that Electric Rosé donates a portion of all their proceeds to Water2Wines, a nonprofit focused on creating sustainable water sources around the world.

At this time the pouches are only available in certain states, but the brand is adding locations all the time, so hopefully your state is coming up soon.

And if it doesn't? You could always get some frozen rosé pops shipped to your home.
