Skip the Diamond Ring and Propose with Pizza Instead

Nothing says, "Marry me," like a mini slice.

When it comes to marriage proposals, we've seen a lot of creative things. Going knee-down in the middle of a deserted Times Square while violins play in the background. Staging a "fake" proposal as a distraction before actually popping the question. Serenading your sweetie while riding the baggage carousel at the airport.

But when it comes to romance, nothing says, "I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you," quite like a good ol' slice of pizza. A tiny slice, that is. Tucked away inside a ring box made of…pizza.

Vinnie's Pizzeria, with two locations in Brooklyn, posted this pizza ring box gem in honor of Valentine's Day. Is there a ring hiding under the tiny slice? We're not sure, but either way, it's a totally cheesy way to propose on V-Day.

If you check out Vinnie's Instagram feed, you'll see the pizzeria has quite a history of IG-worthy specials and hits, including the Purple Rain, covered with cheese that's been dyed purple; the Pizza Pride, with a rainbow of veggie toppings; and the Spaghetti Western, dressed up with marinara, parmesan, and strands of spaghetti.

For taco lovers, there's "Lettuce Give 'Em Something Taco Bout," with ground beef, tomatoes, cheddar, shredded lettuce, and hot sauce.

Everybody knows Sunday brunch wouldn't be complete without a Bloody Mary garnished with not one, not two, but six slices of pepperoni pizza.

For those who like a little intrigue with their 'za, here's the Super Surprise Pizza—a cheese pizza with a mystery slice baked right into it.

And in case size really does matter, there's even a big version of the pizza box. Ring not included.
