Sleeping naked is so good for you (and your relationship) experts say, for a number of reasons.
1. Improves confidence
Sleeping naked makes you more comfortable in your own skin, say experts, as does getting up and walking around naked in front of your partner. You’ll give yourself a real confidence boost if you learn to love your naked self.
2. Keep cool
Researchers at the University of Amsterdam found that getting naked lowers your skin temperature, without having to adjust the temperature in the room. It keeps you feeling comfortable and cool.
3. Stress reliever
If you are sweating during the night, your cortisol levels rise, which leads to major anxiety. Sleeping naked regulates your temperature more than PJ’s.
4. Itchy, scratchy
Simply end tossing and turning over in ill-fitting pajamas or itchy nighties.
5. Improves your relationship
Skin-to-skin contact leads to more sex and more baby making. One study from the National Institute of Child Health and Development at Stanford University found that men who slept in the nude instead of wearing boxer shorts or briefs had a 25 percent lower rate of damaged DNA in their sperm.
