What Will it Take for Taylor Swift to Ditch Her Vodka-Diet?

A Bad Blood on the rocks is sounding pretty good right about now.

Who admits in public that their favorite cocktail is a vodka and diet cola? Taylor Swift, that's who. If you've been following Tay-Tay's most recent confessionals, you know she's been wishing she had better taste in cocktails. Recently The Feast took up the challenge, asking bartenders around the U.S. to create better drink options for Taylor, and they came through with 8 equally simple but (it must be said) infinitely classier drinks for her.

Lately, the star has been inspiring more cocktail wizardry. As Taylor prepared to host the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala (aka the Met Ball) on May 2, Anna Wintour of Vogue threw a pre-gala party in New York City's cult-favorite East Village restaurant Kenka, known for its trippy decor, Japanese izakaya-style pub food, and adventurous dishes like turkey testicles and maggot fried rice. The notoriously tough-to-get-into Kenka got even more exclusive, as guests like Chloe Sevigny and designer Alber Elbaz busted through the doors. Kenka's special cocktail of the evening? The Bad Blood, a tequila concoction named after a Taylor hit. No word yet on whether this Bad Blood will make Taylor switch her cocktail loyalty, but there's another Bad Blood waiting for her just in case: Also inspired by Taylor's song, it was created by the booze experts at Drizly and mixes bourbon with bitters and fresh blood-orange.

Meanwhile, we're putting our bets on the Palm Springs Forever, created for Tay-Tay by the Blind Tiger Cocktail Co. in Seattle. The tangy gin, lime and Thai-basil-vinegar cocktail gets a nice sweet hit from hibiscus syrup, and its stain-proof, oh-so-pale color will ensure Taylor will still rock every red carpet.
