Yes, There’s a Television Channel Exclusively for Dogs

And, yes, humans are allowed to watch it too.

Dog owners all know the look. The “are you really going to leave me all alone in this boring house when all I want to do is spend every second of my life with you?” look.

Fortunately, there’s a television channel exclusively for dogs that will help keep them company. It’s called DogTV, and it is meant to alleviate the anxiety, depression and boredom many dogs feel when their owners are not home paying absolutely all of their attention to them.

Launched in partnership with The Humane Society Of The United States, DogTV plays three to four minute videos in a continuous loop. Content includes shots of dogs napping, dogs playing in dog parks, and wild animals such as zebras and giraffes shot in their natural habitats. It is meant to both relax and stimulate canine viewers — if they pause from chewing your shoes to watch, that is.
