Surely you've been enjoying booze-spiked ice cream, ice pops, chocolate and you-name-it for your entire adult (or adult-ish) life. But we're guessing you've never had tequila lollipops before, at least not ones as cool as these genius, mind-bending mash-ups of kiddie candy and grownup fun.
Cosmopolitan's Cosmo Bites just posted a brilliantly easy-looking video demo that shows you how to DIY these pops at home. Made with water, corn syrup, food coloring and sugar (basic lollipop ingredients), the pops turn into perfect happy-hour or party treats once you infuse them with tequila.

To make the lollilops, you stir corn syrup with water and sugar in a saucepan and let the mixture come to a boil, then add tequila to that boiled mixture and stir again. Take the mixture off the heat, pour drops of it onto a silicone mat, and dip one end of a lollipop stick into food coloring first and then into each drop of corn syrup mixture on the mat to create those colorful swirls. Then, just cool and eat.
No one says you have to stick with tequila, either. These lollipops are incredibly versatile, both in the colors you choose but also in the type of booze you mix in. You can sub the tequila with a flavored vodka or rum or even Campari, or anything you want. The only challenge? Trying not to eat them all before the party even starts.
