Lots of things changed in 2012. Facebook dropped Timelines on everyone to much dismay and status update grumbling. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj joined American Idol and almost immediately nearly ripped each others' faces off. Taylor Swift started writing songs about ex-boyfriends and seemed surprised to win awards. No, wait, that last one's not new. Oh, and in Bravo-land, there were a whole bunch of new faces gracing the various Real Housewives franchises. But which franchise had the best Rookie 'Wives? Vote on our Facebook page!
Real Housewives of New York saw the biggest increase in newbies, as Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher came on board and very quickly saw themselves at war with the returning castmates. Further south on the East Coast, Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore joined the always-wild Atlanta ladies, while Miami saw the addition of supermodel Joanna Krupa, Ana Quincoces, Lisa Hochstein and Karent Sierra. Further west, Heather Dubrow joined the lovely ladies of Orange County, and Beverly Hills gained the luxurious grace of Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville officially became a 'Wife herself.
So... out of them all, which cast had the best new faces? Head on over to our Facebook poll to cast your vote, and make sure to keep an eye out for the rest of the 12 Days of Bravo polls!
RHOA ~ I prefer young Porsha over Kenya... It seems to me from episode 1through episode 11, that Kenya brings drama where ever she goes... She thinks she's the it girl in her world and everyone else is beneath her... IMO
Kenya is much more mature than Porscha. Porscha is entertaining and mature. After viewing the segment with the argument between Porscha and Kenya it is obvious Porscha should be let go immediately. She does not appeal to women of age with her outdated statements. I do recall when Kenya was crowned in the 90's as Miss USA. That was a very powerful moment in the nation worldwide in which Kenya broke barriers of being a woman of color to reign in that position. That honor touched the black community as a whole for that success and will live forever in a day. Porscha is inmature and young at heart and to be in the mix of women who have experienced life in a real world she does fit the profile for the RHOA current cast. Perhaps staying with the age group with the current castmembers would be a better choice. Lisa and Sheree were better cast members than an individual who doesn't bring an interesting conversation to the set. She lives in a world that does relate to the genre of the current cast. The inmaturity is a complete disaster!
I absolutely admire Ana Q., She is the only voice of reason on the show that saids it like it is with an analytical point of view! Also she is a successful independent Cuban woman that represents our culture in a positive ligh and because she lives in the same city I do!
God Bless you and you will make it through your divorce stay who you are and keep doing good for others, good will come to you, GOD and TIME heals all!
I think my favorite new housewife is Ana because she is witty, strong, sexy, loyal and has a heart of gold! I think my next favorite would have to be Brandi and then Heather on New York! Holla!
I like Heather and Carole on RHNY the best. I am not a fan of Aviva AT ALL! I liked Heather Dubrow also but not as much as my NY ladies. I can't really judge Porsha and Yolanda yet because their season is still running and I am slightly behind (sorry but with a husband, children and my job I can't always keep up lol). I don't care for Miami so I have yet to watch a full season (but give it time LOL)
Love RHNY additions, Atlanta not so sure, Porsha seems very young and not sure if she's up to it. But Kenya is a mean girl, she acts out for every situation she is in. Her " boyfriend " should run the other way, and she should learn some manners. I often wonder if the Housewives in general, watch the shows and are proud of how they represent themselves. Miami: Joanna should never touch alcohol again, Ana, seems to be a strong, intelligent woman, Lisa, I like her very much. She needs to learn that her life doesn't revolve around her baby making abilities, but most women can identify with her. Karent is intelligent and beautiful, but that doesn't seem to be enough for her. RHOC. Love love love Heather, wife, mother, career... RHBH. Love Brandi, sending her all good thoughts with the breast cancer.. Still out on Yolanda .. Lets not forget she has married 2 very wealthy men...
Kenya is so far coming out to be one of the worst. There is nothing likable about her. Yolanda I have not decided on...she has a this air about her that I think in time will show her as not so nice. Didn't care for all the the RHONY additions Heather and Avviva. Heather Dubrow is another I am not fond of at all. The sad part is Brandi has become the scapegoat on RHOBH and it is a shame. She is going to have a nervous breakdown before it is over.
Its very hard to choose... I Love all of RHONY Newbies... Ana from RHOM ; Heather of course, the "Voice of Reason" & Definitely Brandi with Her "Truth Cannons" We are still getting to know Yolanda, but She seems very sweet so far...
