Andy Cohen Makes Pop Candy's 100 People of 2010 List

Do you have SNL, MLB, WWHL, and EVP on your résumé?

By Lauren Metz

Santa came early for our Andy Cohen. USA Today's Pop Candy reserved a spot for him on their 100 People of 2010 list to honor the punch the Bravo exec and host of Watch What Happens Live adds to pop culture. Andy lands at no. 81 on the list, just ahead of Michel Gondry (sorry, Michel), and among the likes of Jane Lynch, Lady GaGa, Betty White, and Oprah (because what's a list without Oprah?).

So how good was Andy's year? When asked for the highlight, he told USA Today, "Gosh, I mean I think the thing on SNL was one -- playing myself on a parody of all the reunion shows that we've done. And I threw out the first pitch in a Cardinals game in St. Louis, we won the Emmy for Top Chef, and I just had some incredible guests on Watch What Happens: Live, like Tina Fey and Jerry Seinfeld. So that was four, not one."

Add another highlight to the list: this week he was named Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development here at Bravo. And he's already hard at work on '11. He promises USA Today "more Top Chef: All-Stars, we've got a great new season of Million Dollar Listing coming up, we've got Rocco's Dinner Party, we have a great new show called Million Dollar Decorators which I'm really excited about, lots and lots."

Join us in sending Andy a boatload of heartfelt mazels!
