Andy Cohen
When Andy Cohen is on a show titled Say Anything!, you know he's in the right place. Sitting down with Joy Behar on Current TV, the interview covered a slew of topics, but it was Andy's story about coming out that had Behar captivated.

"I graduated from high school in 1986 at a time where there weren't really any gay people on TV," the Watch What Happens Live host said during the interview, adding that "there were no gay role models and I was in a place where, you know, Eddie Murphy was going around using the F-word in all of his concert tours -- everyone's laughing. I felt like I could never come out and be accepted. I did not think it was an option for me."

After going away to college in Boston, Andy's eyes opened to the fact that it might be possible to come out, and then it happened.

"The bottom line is I ultimately got the power through some friends that I came out to then come out to my parents. It was one of the scariest things that I've ever done. I'll never forget that day. I left the letter actually out which I didn't mean to, and my mom found it ... The letter was to a friend of mine in London who I came out to ... she [his mother] came and said 'I think you have something to tell me.' I said 'I don't want to tell you,' and she said 'you have to,' and I said 'well, you know.' She said 'you have to say the words so that you can say it. So I said it, I'm crying, crying, and about an hour later she said "you know I would have hated your wife anyway."

After the touching story, Andy got a little political when Behar said it's still hard for some to come out. Andy remarked that "It's sad because there are still so many kids being turned away from their families these days. Mitt Romney doesn't think it's so right." When asked by Behar whether he thinks Romney is homophobic, Andy declared: "I'll say he's not pro-gay. Homophobic, I don't know ... I don't think he believes in equality for gay people."

Andy...your are the voice for so many who cant come out because they have families that are narrow minded and old school...keep being the voice for all but remember God loves us all.

Now not to change the subject...but Andy the New Jersey reunion hit an all time low when Rosie threaten to kill Teresa...please FIRE ROSIE and Kathy and Melissa...because you guys are going to lose many viewers if rosie and kathy are continued to film....and Im about to jump ship because I went away with a terrible ache in my tummy and the entire reunion stressed me out! and Rosie stressed me the most! not good
