She's dreamed about this day for years, and now, it's finally here: Not only has Asa Soltan Rahmati's Diamond Water launched—but it's on fire!
"It's been a real blessing. I've worked really hard on this—It's been my dream and I'm really proud of it," the Shahs of Sunset star tells The Dish. "We started shipping three weeks ago. We're so behind in orders. We we get 500 to 1,000 emails a day [with] questions."
The Bravolebrity says her special brand of of diamond-infused alkaline bottled water helps her unleash her "inner Aries fire dragon intergalactic Persian priestess"—and now the world is embracing its power too.
But who, exactly, quenches their thirst with Asa's product? "The demographic seems to be broad: the spa people and the yoga people because it's alkaline," Asa explains. "And there's the glam people because of the diamonds. But it's not frivolous. It's water. We need it."
The self-proclaimed Persian pop priestess says things are going so well that she hopes her next customers are...German. "We're hoping to expand. Diamond water has international appeal," she says. "We're hoping by summer to have some major distributorship, like the country of Germany."
Asa claims that because her water—which sells for $35.88 for a 12-pack of 1-liter bottles—has a higher pH level than plain tap water, it can "neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your metabolism and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively," she explains on the Diamond Water website. "Some even say that alkaline water can help prevent disease, slow the aging process and maintain a healthier bone density."
Her customers also surprisingly like to use it in cocktails. "I get a lot of Instagrams from people who make drinks [with it]—diamond water, fresh ginger and honey," marvels Asa who says customers have even asked her, "'Will it still have the diamond energy in it if I make coffee with it?' People really go crazy with it."
Would you try Asa's Diamond Water? Sound off in the comments.
Asa, I would love to get your recipe for watermelon feta salad! It looked delicious! You had the right idea to try bonding together over cooking.
I doubt that it will ever appear in my area, Love Asa,,but another type of water? Water is water, Running in a stream or being touch by a diamond I just don't get it. There will be people running out to get it and that is the key to success, somebody somewhere, will love the design of the bottle and thats what is going to sell the water. But remember water is water..
Asa - CONGRATULATIONS! you are one of the few Bravo people who are truly a good person. You conduct yourself in a nice manner whatever the situation. You had a dream and you made it come true ..without the ugly drama that surrounds most of the other people.
Wishing you all the success with Diamond Water!
So now are we to assume that you've trying to be another version of MJ - why is the world would you want to be like her? On Andy's show you were asked to rate Lilly and you gave her a not so great rating and yet you claim to be her friend - at least to her face. So you're now joining the backstabbers on the show - congratulations. GG is doing great and she is absolutely right to be annoyed at MJ for what she said to Sean just because she was jealous of GG's relationship with him. The fact that you seemingly can't understand that MJ was wrong says a lot about you. How would you feel if MJ did that to you and "Daddy." Reza and MJ are way over the top and the show isn't enjoyable any longer to me and most people I know. MJ is a mental case and Reza is running a close second. Neither of them have any idea of what true friendship is about - and it appears that you've joined their club.
@Maggietish WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH DIAMOND WATER???
Well i for one have noticed thathe bottle top is not like the one she envisioned. This top appears to be a plain Blue top. Not the top that would not fit on the machines. What happened?
