Brad Goreski cares about the ladies over 40. He knows those gals might have responsibilities beyond deciding where to eat on Saturday night like jobs and kids, but our Brad doesn’t want these women to forsake fashion.

“Age doesn’t matter,” he told lifegoesstrong.com. “You can still continue to play dress up and you should feel good when playing dress up.”The most important thing to remember is try not getting stuck in a sartorial rut.

“You still have to challenge yourself,” he explains. “Of course, there is something to be said for dressing age-appropriately. But that doesn’t mean that it has to be uninteresting.”

He also revealed what every woman should have hanging in their closet.:

A killer pair of pumps

A little black dress

A pencil skirt

A great fitted blazer

A fab day bag

So does he have have any fast and hard rules for the older gals?

“There are no rules. I really do think it depends on your body,” Brad said.

Finally, this is why we really love our bespectacled Brad -- he’s a fountain of positive thought.

"It's sad that we're so quick to list the things about ourselves that we hate,” he says. “I hear, 'I'm over 40. I don't like my arms. I don't like my legs. My hips are too big. My butt's too big.

"Why not say, 'I have a great chest' or 'I really do have a small waist.' I dare you to say, 'I have a great butt.'"

OK, everyone all together... “I have a great butt!”
