Brandi Glanville made quite an impression on the red carpet at the 85th annual Academy Awards this past Sunday. So, we checked in with the acid-tongued Housewife to see what she thought of the event, of what people wore... and, of course, about that dress, and here's what we learned:
1. Brandi designed her own dress for the Oscars in one week. She loved it, but missed fittings due to her book tour schedule. "Clearly it was a bit small," she says. "But had it fit, I feel like it would have been sooooo me! A little bit hooch and a little bit couture."
2. She can't believe people are talking about her and what she wore when there are other major stars to be talking about! Don't worry -- everyone else is getting theirs too.
3. This was Brandi's first trip to the Oscars. She has attended the Vanity Fair party in the past with ex Eddie Cibrian.
4. Brandi's best-dressed of the night included Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon, Stacy Keibler, and Halle Berry.
5. So did she actually see any of the nominated films? "I honestly think I saw one movie this year that wasnt a kids' movie, and it was This is 40, and they got robbed cause that movie rocked!" We're sure Real Housewives of Beverly Hills superfans Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann will be very happy to hear Brandi approved!

If you knew the dress didn't fit (which was QUITE obvious) then why did you wear it? Good grief woman, get some fashion advice and stop embarrassing yourself.
I like you Brandy and want you to succeed. I get that any type of publicity is a good one but this is just one of the few exceptions. Getting on the worst dressed list when you just started your own clothing line is not good for business. I suggest you hire a professional stylist. If you already have one who dressed you up for this gig, he/she needs to be replaced. We've seen Rachel zoe et al solve last minute challenges. A pro who knows what they're doing would never have allowed you to step out of your house with such an ill-fitting dissaster. Sorry! Again, I sincerely want you to succeed. I hope you consider my suggestion and while we're at it, here's another one: flirting with Ken I know is just a joke. It was funny for the first couple of episodes last season but the same old joke repeated entirely throughout two seasons is reallllly overkill. You're funny, honest, humble, I want to keep liking you but that joke is as irritating to me like nails on a chalk board. I can't help it and I know I'm not alone. Surely, there are other things you can talk to Ken about?
What bullshit! A tacky cable TV personality with her first invite to the Oscars makes sure her ensemble for the big night is perfect. This is exactly what you designed and you do own a mirror I presume? Even though I find you classless, I always appreciated that you spoke your truth. Now I don't have that to admire any longer. What trash. It's a shame too because you're so beautiful on the outside.
She's a goob on the show, but I love her and loved her book! Go mama, ow ow!

I loved your HAIR style, MakeupPerfection, and your skin glowed! I had thought my fav. of your hairstyles was down straight, but this look is my new Favorite! I actually thought the dress was amazingly Beautiful!!! That dress rocked...the bottom was beautiful...maybe if the top was pulled up a tad but it was absolutely gorgeous

WELL PLAYED Brandi... Any other beautiful, designer,Haute Couture dress would hardly get you a mention. This week millions of people who didn't know your name are commenting on your dress. Genius. It's not like you showed up dressed as an underwear model . Oh that show was several months ago.
No one could accuse you of being dumb even when barely covered. You would also make a great DWTS candidate. Brandi, where are your accusers? Many still don't know their names.
I totally agree with Nigtengale...loved the comment "that's OUR Brandi!" We love Brandi, her bloops, blunders, but most of all her beauty, inside and out. The things that make her imperfect are the reasons why we love her more.
I think she looks amazing!!!! Even with the dress not fitting exactly how she wanted. I didn't even notice!
Brandi, you are so georgous. You would look great in a potato sack. I tuned in at the end of the pre show when they asked you who was your favorite and you said Reese. Had I known you were going to be on the red carpet I would had recorded the show. I love you and it's great to see you smiling ad having fun. You go girl!

I just don't understand why you would go ahead and wear that I'll fitting mess. Since it didn't fit, you would have been better off wearing something last minute that looked classier. I only wish I had such a stunning figure. You would have looked stunning with just a little better planning.
What I don't understand is why you didn't make sure you had a great dress to wear for the Oscars!! You were insanely lucky it get the invitation and the attention it would bring you, so I would think that making sure you had something to wear that night would have been much more important than doing a book signing (that could have been postponed). You were beautiful but the dress was awful.
A lot hooch and not so much couture
This dress would have won "best dress" of the night if the top would have been higher. I loved the way the bottom of the dress. At least people are talking about the dress and will help with future designs. Calling your lable "Just Brandi" would be a hit. I can hear the Kyle's, Kim's, Taylor's and Adrienne now green with envy because they weren't invited! LOL

Wow, I am impressed with Brandis designing skill! Unbelieveably talented in that arena. Too low cut for me but I get the fittings delima. That's our Brandi and we love her that way. She has so outshown Kyle, Adrienne and Fayke. Way to go Brandi!!!
@Nightengale Missing a fitting certainly didn't cause that dress to fit the way it did, and any seamtress will tell you that. That's the way it was cut which would have been "discovered" at the FIRST fitting. So, what happened to oh truthful one, huh? She's lying about the cause of the fit! That's the fit she wanted and knowing that tells us who she REALLY is! A LIAR!

You're absolutely right. She wanted the dress to fit that way - the first fitting would have screamed at her and the seamstress that it needed a major overhaul.

It would had been really beautiful had she covered up her top. She looked beautiful. Too bad it cheapened the dress by exposing most of her breast.

Julie you sure do get your hate on when it comes to Yolanda and Brandi.
I thought the bottow of the dress was simply gorgeous as was Brandi. The top was the only problem which as said could have been better had she had time for a fitting. Beautiful otherwise!
