The RHOBH star hopes for the best: "I'm not an actress so this should be interesting!"

Break out the tissues! Brandi Glanville is dipping her pedicured toes into the world of acting—in a Lifetime TV movie too!

Instead of playing herself like she did on Beverly Hills 90210, the former model and current Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is taking on the role of Erica in the small-screen drama Missing at 17. She shared the news on Twitter:

The TV movie, which marks Brandi's acting debut, follows a teenager who runs away from home to look for her biological mother but gets drawn into a world of danger along the way.

And yes, Lifetime is the same network that aired the TV movie where Brandi's ex Eddie Cibrian met—and started an affair with—his now-wife wife LeAnn Rimes.

What do you think about Brandi's new role? Tell us in the comments.

I am sure you will be fabulous as you are with everything!  I was sorry to see Kim and Kyle returning to the show this season.  The sisters are not my favorites!

I think it is great that you are getting more work than your ex!  And he calls himself an actor.  Anyway, I'm glad to see you land on your feet and hope you find a relationship that makes you happy.

If this role leads to a lucrative career for you, congrats.  You have two children to take care of.  I am always happy to see a single mom be able to support her family.  See, not one snarky word in my post, LOl   Again, best of  luck.

Oh congratulations on the acting gig, you have a future in acting if you don't go with the needles and fillers, etc., sorry to repeat myself. And I love the relationship you and Lisa, please don't ruin that. If Faye Resnick is on I am not watching this season, can't stomach her. Now there is a face that looks horrible.

Brandi, you make the greatest addition to BHHW but dear, please do not do anymore plastic surgery, you will end up

looking like Le Ann Rimes, honestly. You have the greatest body, wonderful sense of humor and yet you are messing up your fact. Kyle went overboard, why would you do that? You don't need any plastic surgery or botox, no fillers, PLEASE. I can't watch your faces like that.
