TCA is a great time for us TV junkies to geek out over big announcements from our favorite networks. And while I'm still just completely jealous that Andy Cohen got to be in the same room as the glorious Lauren Graham, I have other news to share! I'm going to post the main points because you don't care about the other mumbo jumbo.
1. The Rachel Zoe Project, Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List, Flipping Out, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta, are all coming back for another season! Kathy will also have two new comedy specials airing this year!
2. Top Chef's Gail Simmons will be host for Top Chef: Just Desserts. (More Gail!!! Yeee!!!)
3. Freshman series 9 By Design will premiere on Monday, April 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Double Exposure will premiere in April, and Work of Art: The Next Great Artist premieres in June. The Real Housewives of New York City premieres Thursday, March 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and Top Chef Masters premieres Wednesday, April 7 at 11 p.m. ET/PT and moves to its regular 10 p.m. time period on April 14. Watch What Happens: Live returns for its winter season with Oscar nominee Liam Neeson and actor Cheyenne Jackson on Thursday, January 14 at midnight ET/PT.
4. Bethenny's Getting Married? and Thintervention with Jackie Warner were picked up. Here's more info on both:
Bethenny's Getting Married?
As one of the breakout characters of The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel has shared her social life with millions, and in her new docu-series fans will get an up close and personal look at her career. Viewers will follow the outspoken New York City socialite as she juggles her happy love life, plans a wedding and prepares for baby while managing her insanely busy schedule and career as a natural foods chef. Somewhere in her schedule she found time to write two books on healthy living – Naturally Thin: Unleash Your Skinny Girl & Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting (that quickly became a New York Times bestseller) and The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life – and continues to manage her line of "Skinny Girl" cocktails. The series is produced by Shed Media U.S. for Bravo. Jennifer O'Connell, Matt Anderson, and Nick Emmerson serve as executive producers.
Thintervention with Jackie Warner
An emotional new docu-series inspired by renowned fitness expert Jackie Warner's life mission to change lives through healthy habits, Thintervention will give viewers an even closer look at what Warner does best – kick butt and inspire drastic lifestyle changes for her overweight clients who are struggling to lose weight and get healthy for good. The series will track the stories of people struggling with ongoing weight issues as Warner works with them in their real lives surrounded by the every day distractions and stresses of family and work. Each episode of the one hour series will feature a grueling workout pushing clients to their emotional and physical limits, a therapy session to get to the root of their weight issues, and a life lesson in nutrition such as grocery shopping or surprise raids of their home kitchens. "Thintervention with Jackie Warner" is produced by Shed Media U.S. for Bravo. Jennifer O'Connell, Jackie Warner, and Nick Emmerson serve as executive producers.
Is that enough good new for all of you Bravo superfans?! Which new or returning shows are you most looking forward to? Let me know in the Comments section below.
Happy Dance! Glad to see my favorites coming back and some new shows too. I'm particularly anxious for Work of Art!
I am a BIG fan of Jackie Warner and glad I'll be seeing her on BravoTV, but sad it not going to be Workout. I don't see anything on Housewives of Orange County. Monica A. Reyhani receives a '-D' for her blog.
Will there be a Housewives of New Jersey ? They were great! Will Chef Academy be picked up for another season ? Fantastic show. I am addicted. Will there ever be more DVD's of Bravo shows ? I would buy them in a heartbeat !
Where is Tabatha's Salon Takeover!! Its the best show on Bravo and instead of 10 episodes it needs to be 20!!!! I can't get enough! BRING HER BACK PLEASE!!!1
Tabatha is wonderful. The show is not only entertaining but informative. I have been educated as a client regarding what to expect and demand from a professional salon. My salon owner makes it madatroy watching for his staff. Love it, love her. Bring Tabatha back!
Please keep TABATHA'S SALON TAKEOVER!!!!! It is a necessity!
Who really cares about fake tan cougars in a house anyways..The Jersey housewives is a waste of airtime.
Nice Job Bravo! Thanks for bringing Jackie Warner, Flipping Out, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta back!
Tabatha's Salon Takeover is my favorite show on Bravo so just wanted to say how much I'm looking forward to Season 3!
Please please please bring Tabatha back for a 3rd season! Have you seen how many viewers are on her Facebook? Holy Crap!
Please, keep Tabatha's Salon Makeover coming! It's an amazing show and we just can't get enough of it. More Tabatha!
Where's Chad and the boys from Million Dollar Listing? I can't wait for Thintervention!! Jackie Warner is hard core. What about Chef Academy??? I know it hasn't officially ended, but that show is good!! And of course, bring back lots of Tom Colicchio!!!!!
I think this is just some of whats coming in the next half of year. I notice they don't mention anything past the first part of summer.
I think this is just mentioning what coming the first part of the year. I notice nothing is mentioned after the first part of summer.
they wouldn't announce tabatha while it's still airing would be my guess. what about make me a supermodel?
Just wondering when Tabatha's Salon Takeover will be starting back up. One episode left, but ready for season 3!!!
Alot of my favorite shows are returning to bravo which is exciting !!!!! Im hoping NYC Prep will return to bravo for a second season in 2010!!!!
So we won't get to see any of the trainers at the Skysports Lab anymore on Jackie Warner's new show?No more personal life of Jackie? Not sure if I'm too crazy on the new concept for her show.
I can't wait to see, Bethenny Frankel and Jackie Warner's new shows this spring. My two life goals, to be thin and in shape at the same time.
I am thrilled to hear Bethenny has received her own show (I hope Jill Zarin and the Countess will make an appearance!).I am also looking forward to Rachel Zo I think she is darling! But where are the New Jersey Housewives...??? They need another season and those tacky OC ladies need to be canceled! There time is done...if this was a game show and you had to invite a team off the OC team would be the ones that had to go!! looking forward to the new line up!
When are the Real Housewifes of New Jersey coming back?? You can end the New York Housewifes and replace them with New Jersey please!!
No mention of Tabatha? That's my favorite freakin' show! What will I do on my Tuesday nights without it?!
TABATHA! T-A-B-A-T-H-A! I don't care if it's T's Salon Takeover or just footage of her walking around being her fierce self. We. Need. More. Tabatha. Now!
