“The only thing better than one Real Housewives of Atlanta hairstylist hosting a show about fashion… is two,” according to honorary ‘Wife Miss Lawrence. He is teaming up with socialite Bevy Smith and fellow ATL hair guru Derek J in Fashion Queens, an all-new talk show series premiering this Sunday, March 17th at 11:30pm. The three-episode series will cover all things fashion, ranging from haute couture to celebs to global style trends.

“Bravo viewers have loved watching Derek J and Miss Lawrence tell it like it is for years on our air, so when we saw the opportunity to pair them with Bevy Smith, whose fashion point of view we’ve always admired, we jumped at the opportunity,” said Eli Lehrer, VP of Development and Original Programming for Bravo. “We think it’s going to make for a totally unique, deliciously outrageous take on the week in fashion.”
Derek J and Miss Lawrence have been keeping it real for 5 seasons of RHOA, providing comic relief, a listening ear, juicy gossip, and fabulous hairstyles to our favorite Georgia peaches. This isn’t the first time the pair has hosted a Bravo show. How could we forget last season, when they dished on what really happened behind the scenes of RHOA in “Hairstylists Tell All.”:
Catch a sneak peek of Fashion Queens below, and tune in on Sunday, March 17th, March 24th, and March 31st to watch the series!
Miss Bevy is just wonderfull, Miss Lawrence, and Derek J ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS WORK THAT RUNWAY SWEETY
I am not sure why the word fashion and any of these people are talked about in the same sentence. The show has a great concept but may need fashion conscious individuals to deliver it. Miss Lawrence maybe the only person close to fashionable but his attitude is so bitter, I can not do nothing but turn the TV off.
i see halloween costumes. fashion not so much.
I agree with Blink... What I would like to know is how badly chafed Miss Lawrence must be from how hard he's been riding Kenya? Anyone Kenya is into it with seems to be an enemy of Miss Lawrence and deserves his catty put-down comments. How very small and transparent of him. #SoTacky
This show might be watchable if they lost Miss Lawrence. What a hateful bias critic of those he doesn't like. He's rude and obnoxious and it's not cute. Couldn't watch the show anymore after the first eppy, and I find Derek J wonderful. Too bad Miss Lawrence is going to tank the show.
This show is hilarious and entertaining. Keep dishing.
I love when TJ Max was mentioned in regards to the Coach purse. Some viewers might not have fabulous income but still look fabulous. A true fashion Queen can make a fashion statement in just about any store. I love that the down home store was mentioned. Love ya Queens
Love Miss Lawrence and Derek J. and hope this new show is renewed.
I hope they get some of the Houswives as guests in the future.
Thank you for this show... Fashion lovers dream come true.... YES!!! Tens across the board
I used to like Lawrence but now it seems he's let his 5 minutes of fame go to his head or something. all the hate comments towards Phaedra and others is not a good look. still love Derek J. and maybe Bevy is better behind the scenes. i know she cant help her lisp but i think that may be the problem. Sorry just keepin it 100.
Who was Bevy wearing tonight? Her dress was sooo cute!!! And where can I get it?
Bevvy Smith? Fashion Queens? The fabulous Derek J., and Miss Lawrence need to style her - hair, clothes and all. Enjoy what Bevy has to say, but in addition to her lack of style, as a host she needs to learn how to pronounce the words coming out of her mouth. i.e.: legendary
Not watching the show anymore. Miss Lawrence is just mean spirited. He just bash Pheadra Park every opportunity he gets. He said Kandi wears cheap colthes, and that Kenya look better at Prosha Peter's Men's Health formal event. I have no problem with loyalty, but he letting Kenya's crazy rub off on him. His comments don't make any sense. Miss Lawrence is attractive, and needs to take that rug off his head. I've got respect for Derek J. Bevy Smith is not a natural at this job!
They need to lose the Bevy chick
I love the show... but tonight, I was so very distracted by Miss Lawrence's hair piece. I couldn't help staring at the back of your head. Hun, why not just sport your natural close cut, that shows off your always flawless makeup .Kudos to both you and Derek J!
Loved the show. Miss Lawrence--what is the lipstick you are wearing. I am always looking for a rich, deep red lipstick.
RealinNYC
And here is the problem with it. It is a wonderful color, it just doesnt look good on Lawrence.
I liked it. I really liked Bev. If I had to say something negative is that I was annoyed by Laurence doing the pouty lip thing and the gleaming eyes. Derek J is so right for this show also. I think he is funny in a conservative sort of way. I am going to have to TiVo it though.
OH I loved Bevy Smith! Never knew of her before. She's dry and sly so it takes a second for what she's really doing to sink in. Love the way she's says GAG.
Anybody that throws down the line "A good read should sting like a Birkin to the merkin" has got my love!
Of course Miss Lawrence and Derek J already had my heart.
I agree -- give them a full season and permanent show.
Bevy darling loving two of your necklaces... the black and gold spiked, and dripping blue/green that cascades down. Where can we find these?
Love, love, love these, please let us know!
Saw this show last night and thought it was she-larious! Hope it becomes a permanent feature.
I love Derek j and miss Lawrence, but I also agree the Bev is not needed on the show, cause the guys know a lot about fashion that they don't need that loud mouth Bev thinking its her show. We all know that people are tuning in to see our favorite Queens!!
As much as I adore them, I was disappointed to hear Derek J and Miss Lawrence bash the natural hair movement on their new show Fashion Queens. After decades of black women feeling the pressure to conform to the white standards of beauty, it's refreshing that we are now able to liberate ourselves and our hair.
Girl they make their money on perms and weaves,i didnt expect them to agree with the natural hair movement,i went natural cause i couldnt afford to keep paying to keep my hair done,LOL.
I waited for so long for Derek J and Miss Lawrence to get their own show.... HOWEVER... this one sucked. First.. get Bevy Smith off the show. Miss L and Derek J can carry the show by themselves. Second. The format is confusing... is it hosted by Bevy and DJ and ML guests? Its odd. Third. Get Derek J a brown ear piece.. That loop thing behind is ear looks bad. Fourth Stop with the uncomfortable pauses, I dont know if its a slight delay in shifting from one camera to the other but its off. Fifth.. I hope those chairs are a one night only occurrence, were almost able to get a beaver shot by Bevy Smith. Sixth The Reading Room bit could have been hilarious.. wtf? it fell flat. I love DJ and ML but the show needs a makeover... STAT

Derik J...Derik J...
Write a book PLEASE!
You are a trend setter! A shifter of the universe. I remember seeing you for the first time on HWOA wearing five inch heels and you made it seem natural! It was a 'but of course" moment--a "and why not? repartee with the television nation." You made me question my rigid formations of what boys and girls are supposed to do and what they are supposed to wear! Who am I to reinforce imaginary moral boundaries? I don't want to be that person! It's so passe; so yesterday and darling, I thank you for that! Yes, I saw your footwear but moreover, I saw YOU. You made me see the person and not the product! That's called shifting the universe! That's what I call growth. You made me GROW UP!
I'll write again and I'll keep watching Fashion Queen's. I can't wait until y'all have enough episodes to do a marathon. Shout out to Ms. Bev and air kisses to Lawrence.
Your Biggest fan,
CV
Here's what y'all have to do next:
1. Write a Book- "Driik J. More than Gay" or "Sitting in the Shade" or
2. Go on a book tour.
3. Open a hair salon in every major city. (NY first). Make it a franchise like McDonald's.
4. Start a line of cosmetics--especially those lashes.
