Searching for Mr. Right? That guy buying you a lemon drop shot isn't him.
"Bars are just a big hookup joint. Guys are just looking for some hot girl to walk in and literally the guys all have bets over which one of them is going to get her in the sack that night," The Real Housewives of Orange County's Gretchen Rossi tells Saturday Night Magazine. "It's not a good place to find a serious relationship."
Instead, stalk your friends' Facebook pages until you find someone who catches your eye. "The best place to meet a quality person is through people recommending somebody or setting you up through family friends or whatever it is," Gretchen suggests to the mag. "The bar situation is going to leave you with a broken heart."
For what it's worth, the local watering hole does make a great stage for ultra-cheesy pickup lines. Gretchen's best of the worst? "This guy was like, 'So, are you tired?' and I said, 'What? Am I tired?' and he said, 'Yeah, because you've been running around my head all day,' and I was just like 'Are you kidding me right now?'"

Haha. I met my husband in a bar 20 years ago. We've been married for 15 years. It's not about where you meet men, but the kind of men you meet. Good luck finding a soul mate, Gretchen.
Met mine in a bar 32 years ago and have been extremely happy in love ever since...so, I agree..it does not matter where you meet your man only that you do indeed meet a MAN, not a bum - fame seeking Slade type.
I agree that some men in bars are jerks, but nice guys can be anywhere including bars. I like to party so for me I have met many men in bars including my current guy of 10 years. None of my bar guys have been cheaters and none of them I hooked up with on the first night. Really I have a facebook but I would not look there I have to meet the person although set ups do work as well. I do love me some Gretchen though gorgeous and nice. Get rid of Slayde if you have not already!
