I'm confused, aren't Triple Sec and Grand Marnier both orange liquors.

Your NOT confused ShellCat, Bethenny is. Triple sec is made from dried peeled oranges and so is Grand Marnier. This cocktail that Bethenny is calling the skinnygirl margarita is on Grand Marnier's web-site...its called the Grand Margarita.

Triple Sec and Grand Marnier are both orange liquors. Everyone has their preference! I prefer Triple Sec on fresh fruit and Grand Marnier in a cake! YUM! When it comes to a drink~it is purely personal choice! I agree~this drink should only be made from Patron~just my opinion! However~why buy all this stuff when we can all just buy Bethenny's Skinnygirl Drinks!!
