Get the blue cards ready, Bravo's resident film expert will dish up his Academy Awards critique live this Sunday night on AOL.

Feb 21, 2013 - The Dish

This Sunday is Oscar night! Listening to the witticisms (and snarky asides) of cultural critics tends to be just as much fun as watching the big event (no offense,  Seth MacFarlane), so we're letting you know that our very own James Lipton will be live-blogging the 85th Annual Academy Awards at AOL.com. What could be better than having Mr. Lipton’s take on the winners and losers right as they're winning and losing? If Heaven exists, we're pretty sure listening to James Lipton up-to-the-minute reactions to film's most notorious night is proof.

Mr. Lipton can tell you best what he’ll be tackling that evening, as he takes a quick break from the 19th Season of Inside the Actors’ Studio (and those infamous blue cards) to dish up some insider scoop on the big night. Surf over to AOL to see how he preps for his show and how he'll prep for the 85th Oscar ceremony.

The action starts Sunday, February 24, at 6:30 p.m. EST on AOL.com. But before then, prep by checking out vintage clips of 2013's Oscar nominees' memorable interviews with the man himself (and one bonus moment desparetely trying to dress an Oscar-nominee from The Rachel Zoe Project) here.
