The Rachel Zoe Project star explains how to make your pad as fashion-forward as your clothes.

Whether or not he's taking to the styling world, no one can argue that Jeremiah Brent turned Rachel and Rodger's empty abode into a new nest worthy of one of the most stylish babies in the world. So of course we had to ask Jeremiah Brent for his tips on creating a home with a sartorial style.

His simple secret to creating a fabulous abode -- treat it like an outfit.

"I think that's the great thing about interiors is that they
can be treated like a great wardrobe," Jeremiah mused. "Choose a sofa and chairs that are staples in clean shapes that will keep for the next couple of years or decade. Then an easy way to bump up your entire room or your interiors is accessories."

The Rachel Zoe Project star recommends changing up lighting or other small accessories for a fresh feel in your home. Right now he loves adding oh-so-trendy metallics and even mixing silver and gold (he's come a long way since not understanding what rose gold was on his first jewelry pull) for a funky feel in your home.

Jeremiah even gave us one tip that turns your tired threads into something fabulous at home.

"Something I did is when fall came, I had old cable knit sweaters that I hated and that didn’t fit any more, but I used them to recover pillows. "It changed [the pillows] to a whole new season. The whole room now has very much of fall feel to it."

Tune in tonight at 9/8 C to see if Jeremiah's going to be able to continue to put tricks like that to work on Team Zoe. Until then check our before and after gallery of Jeremiah's handiwork in Rachel's new digs.
