Andy Cohen and his longtime pal Jerry Seinfeld sat down for an interview on AOL to chat about everything: his web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, his and Andy's friendship ("It's somewhat hedonistic," says Seinfeld) and more.
Our favorite highlight came when Andy asked the comic to reveal his all-time favorite scene from his long-running sitcom Seinfeld. And you might be surprised to learn that beyond the Puffy Pirate Shirt and Soup Nazi, Seinfeld prefers one particular moment from 1994's "The Marine Biologist."
"I'll say the scene where me and George and Kramer are in the coffee shop," he says. "Kramer hits the golf ball into the blowhole of the whale. George, pretending to be a marine biologist to impress his girlfriend, has saved the whale. The night before we shot it, [series co-creator] Larry David and I wrote that whole long speech that Jason [Alexander, George] does, about the sea was angry that day, my friend, like an old man sending soup back at a deli...which we wrote just for you, [Andy]!

I LOVE that scene---that's a great episode! Anyone who says they don't find Seinfeld funny is too dumb to understand the jokes. I mean--some of the jokes are very subtle but hilarious, and thats what makes the show fantastic. I admit--there are some crappy episodes, but all great series have that issue. Anyone who says they don't like Seinfeld and has watched the Marine Biologist, the Contest, the marble Rye..... the Christmas picture (hey nip!), etc........ well, you are just a frowning unhappy person. hahaha. I miss the days of watching it with fresh eyes.
