Over the past few years, we've seen Kanye West flip out on a national telethon, flip out at the MTV VMAs, and (most recently) flip out at Jimmy Kimmel over a late-night bit. As West's good pal and collaborator, John Legend has had a front-row seat for all the Kanye Show's wackiest antics, and on last night's Watch What Happens Live, a call-in viewer wanted to know what's the most normal thing about the outspoken superstar.

"I mean, Kanye's normal a lot of the time," Legend explains. "I write with him, I'm in the studio with him all the time. He's just a normal, funny guy most of the time. But he's different. He's special."

When Andy Cohen questioned Legend about West's most recent outburst—a Twitter rant over Kimmel's jokes—Legend wondered whether Kanye wasn't acting out on purpose.

"You know what, honestly, I always wonder in my heart of hearts, like, does he do some of the things he does because he knows everyone's going to go crazy about it. Is he really behind the scenes calculating about it, making you all think he's crazy. Because when he's with me, I feel like he's not a crazy person."

Watch John Legend give Andy the scoop on Kanye's "crazy" behavior and tell us in the comments: what was Kanye's worst outburst?
