We love Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart just may love Top Chef.

Jon Stewart had a little fun at Top Chef’s expense last night on The Daily Show in a hilarious segment comparing the sequestration of Congress to being told by Padma Lakshmi to “pack your knives and go.”

“There are worse penalties for f--king up on Top Chef than there are in Congress,” according to Stewart. “At least there you gotta pack your knives and go!” 

But he didn’t stop there, and digressed a little, revealing his Top Chef superfandom by mentioning Last Chance Kitchen, Top Chef: Seattle's return of chefs from previous seasons, and, of course, his disdain for one very controversial chef -- Josie. We can only assume this means he was Team Kristen. Don't worry, CJ and Stefan, he likes you guys.
