When they’re not slinging indulgent cocktails, the Vanderpump Rules cast is actively pursuing their dreams in the entertainment business. Outside the confines of SUR, each audition could be the big break that leaves SUR in their rear-view mirror.
Laura-Leigh personified this notion when she basically used her inevitable break as a threat against Jax. “Guess what? I’m not leaving. You’re stuck with me. You’re going to have to deal with me every f---ing day until I book a job and I’m out of here,” she bellowed with dramatic confidence only an actress could muster.
However, in one of the season finale’s many #Vandershocked twists, Laura-Leigh confided in Lisa that she’s leaving SUR because she booked a film with Jennifer Aniston. Wait…what?!
Aside from her awkward, lingering hug that Lisa graciously endured, Laura-Leigh high-tailed it out of SUR faster than a Teresa Guidice-table flip.
We decided to do a little digging for #PumpRules fans left baffled by this turn of events. According to IMDB, Laura-Leigh is billed with a role in We're the Millers, a comedy about a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico. The Warner Bros. vehicle, which also stars Jason Sudeikis and Emma Roberts, is scheduled for release on August 9, 2013.
Juilliard-trained Laura-Leigh has also appeared on Gossip Girl, Law & Order, and most recently in Lifetime’s The Client List starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. In a recent stop by the WWHL Clubhouse, Hewitt confessed to Andy that she actually does watch Vanerpump Rules. But, given that she and Laura-Leigh work together, Hewitt has tried to forget about the antics she’s seen and instead tries to keep their convos surface level. “I have to admit, I’ve been looking in the bathrooms now on set going, ‘Is she in there?’ ” Hewitt joked.

Laura-Leigh's Law & Order episode was just on TV, and she played opposite the son from The Sopranos. She wasn't bad. If she has had some measure of success and was trained at Juilliard, doing a catty reality show probably wasn't the best career move.
Sure I would go see the "Millers" movie . Now that Laura has made a " mark" I will watch for her in other parts .
Good for you girl !
Congratulations to Laura Leigh! Sounds to me like she's the only true professional actress among the whole staff at SUR. I'd bet the rest are just furious (hee hee).
I am rooting for Laura too-, now I see she is Juilliard trained--makes sense. Hope the mean girls like Stassi are eating their hearts out.
I hope this is the break Laura Leigh needed to jumpstart her career and not look back to the bullies of Vanderpump Rules.
Love Lisa and like that she has a spin off, but Kudos to Laura Leigh on her success and high tailing it out of there. Hope she finds some peace and stability in her life. While I get Stassi was in a horrible place between Jax and her friends, she was an absolute bitch to Laura Leigh. Stassi is mental.
