"I could use the rest," says the Real Housewife.

on Apr 12, 2013 - The Dish0

Our ‘Wives are women of many talents. We’ve already discussed their singing careers at length, but Lisa Vanderpump can now add a run on Dancing with the Stars to her Housewife resume. The SUR owner and Beverly Hills cast member ended her stint on DTWS this week, after several rounds of intense competition.

It was a tough run for Vanderpump—her busy work schedule, combined with the grueling DWTS rehearsal commitment took a toll on her. Vanderpump had been fighting a virus heading into her final week of competition, which ultimately cost her the win. “That [virus] was one of the hardest things to suffer from,” she told The Dish, exclusively. “I was absolutely exhausted.”

But, despite the elimination, Vanderpump still feels good about her DWTS experience.

“I couldn’t have had a nicer partner,” she raved. “Gleb Savchenko and I truly bonded and he’ll be my friend for life. It was more of the emotional attachment and the bonding that I was sad to lose.”

Vanderpump is taking her elimination in stride, and using the time to get some much needed rest. (And, we suspect, to spend a little quality time with our favorite pint-sized pup.)

“It was perfect timing for me to leave,” she told us. “In hindsight, I have so much going on. I’m running 16 businesses. I’m on two reality shows -- Vanderpump Rules and RHOBH. I could use the rest.”

And while ultimately that means Giggy will rest too, it might not be for long!:

I've never watched any of those housewife shows and didn't know who you were, but I always watch DWTS and really liked your dog, then as I kept watching, I liked you. too and thought you did really well on the show. I've started watching the old episodes of the housewives of Beverly Hills and you are my favorite- you're very genuine and funny and your husband seems very sweet, too. Thanks for being on DWTS and bringing Giggy and Ken!

Lisa, you are one class act! you are one of my favorite housewives cause you aren't fake, you are honest, classy, you have the other ladies backs even when they don't have yours (Kim, Kyle).  Love Giggy and Ken.

I don't watch DWTS but saw a great deal of negative comments on FB from viewers of that show accusing you of faking the collapse for publicity, those accusations were appalling. they don't know you (granted I don't either) but I see how you are on RHOBH and don't believe for a second that you would fake anything and specially not for publicity.

you get great well deserved publicity.  I saw the clip of your collapse on DWTS and was very concerned for you.  I gave my two cents (more like a dollar) on FB to all those negative viewers. glad to hear that you are well. looking forward to next season of RHOBH.

Good Luck to anyone that wants to get involved with GG. She is certainly one to enter cautiously into a relationship. Has a lot of bad history and have some empathy for her but she is troubled. Will be ok if continues lifetime therapy for her to find Happiness.

Lisa I think you danced better then the boxer and Andy Dick. I think if you didn't get sick you would still be on the show for a few more weeks. I love you to death, but, I don't think you could have beat Kelly Pickler. Hope you feel better. Jackie

I was a big fan of yours until you ganged up with Brandi and treated Kyle so miserably.  I hope you will use this time to repair the friendships you've destroyed this season.

For what it's worth, I had never watched DWTS till I heard you were on it. I very much enjoyed watching you on the show! Love everything you do! Xoxoxo

Lisa...you are the absolute favorite of me and my friends! We love you and you made us proud on DWTS!!! Now you, Ken and Giggy can get some rest in your fabulous home!!  Kyle can just whither away with envy and jealousy. She lost a good, true and loyal friend. The Paris episode clearly shows you were trying to help Kim. How sad that this was how they turned the situation around. Stay clear of the Richards sisters....and Mauricio! You showed enormous control, grace and loyalty to Kyle AND Maurico by not throwing out Kyle's puppet at your vow renewal. Stay fabulous!

Lisa, my dear,

You are probably my favorite person on RHOBH and you always look like such a fun gal on the show.  But you did not look like you were having fun on DWTS.   I would have liked you to have been able to stay longer and break through the "trying to look good" stage and get into the "I'm letting myself go and having fun" stage.

Even in the show's opening and closing, you were the only one not clapping, smiling, or moving.  I am guessing you are happy for your experience to be over so hopefully you can move on with your life.  Good luck.

Lisa Dear Lisa! You my darling are my hero! True am 10 years older but you inspire me every time I see you .I just finished read the article in PEOPLE magazine today. Your home is so so lovely .I liked the comment about the bed and the bedroom. I have fibromyalgia and spend a lot of time resting . Usually in bed so I like to have my bedroom cozy and comfortable too.And when I'm able to get up and around the room then is just that more lovely to look at. This season I could relate with Yolanda and her illness. Her symptoms at times mimicked mine before I was diagnosed. I hope she's doing well in her recovery! I like her a lot and hope she stays with the show. And please tell BRAVO to 86 FAYE. BAD BAD Person !!!!! Hugs to Ken and Giggy Can't wait for next season PS I think Kyle is very two faced! and am glad Adrianne is gone!

ITA.  I think this show wasn't a good fit. Kudos for her trying and opening the door for other housewives to try out.
