Meet the new faces on The Real Housewives of NYC in Season 3!

Oct 15, 2009 - The Dish0

The Real Housewives of NYC is set to come back for a third season in 2010, with two new faces entering the fray - Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert! The girls will be joining Housewives Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin. Let's do proper welcomes and introductions.

Sonja Morgan is a fixture of New York City society, running in social circles that include European royalty and top-notch designers. Having jet-setted around the world and modeled in Paris and Milan (who hasn't?), Morgan worked for multiple restaurants across the city as a consultant and manager and often brought in her famous friends to spice up these locales. A single mother of a nine-year-old daughter, Morgan loves art, decorating, gardening, skiing and visiting France every chance she gets – be it for her charity work or just for pleasure. And there you have the fabulous life of Sonja Morgan! Moving on to our next Housewife of honor, we have...

Jennifer Gilbert is a busy career woman – she owns and runs Save the Date®, a corporate event planning company, and serves as the co-owner of Portamee, a baby carrier company. Named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young when she was 29, Gilbert is a graduate of the "Birthing of Giants" Program at MIT University. If you ever decide to lie to impress a stranger, definitely include that you graduated from the BIRTHING OF GIANTS program at MIT. It sounds only slightly less impressive than a Pulizer or an Oscar or the Nobel Prize. Anyway, back to Jen. Married for seven years with three children, Gilbert and her husband love to entertain and have dinner parties every Saturday night. Her motto, "Why cook when you can cater?" enables her to spend time setting a beautiful table and inviting the best of the best to her soirees.

So, how do you think the new ladies will fit in? Are you excited for Season 3? Sound off below!

I am very excited about Sonja Morgan joining the cast. I know she will add a lot of class to the show. She has a very interesting life and is a very classy lady. I think the American viewing public will love her.

I cant wait to meet Jennifer Gilbert. I have heard so many great things about how she has helped in the NY community. I think a nice change up will make the season alot more intresting! Keep up the great job Bravo!

I think this is ridiculous that there will be two new housewives to the mix. I think who we already have is just fabulous on their own! I can't wait to watch Jill and Bethenny run around the Hamptons and NYC in this upcoming season!! I think it might be a mistake...thats a lot of women to get in an hour long episode. My thoughts is that someone is being pushed out or is leaving. We will find out, hopefully in the very near future! NYC is the best!!

I LOVE the NYC Housewives. It's a tie between NYC and NJ. I CANNOT miss an episode. I record them and rewatch them. It's SO much fun! Looking forward to NYC Season 3 and hopefully NJ Season 2.

Hi All,

Wow! The more I watch all these gals, the more addicted I become. I would just love to see NeNe and Caroline get together and discuss all topics juicy for about two hours or more. Those two could get right down to it, I bet. Bethany would be a great third one as well. I love Dina. There is something about her that seems sad - yet very real as well. Dina is a soul searcher, and reads the same book {Power of Now} that I do. She has a balance of dreamer and down to earth that I have as well. Living in San Diego, I see these Orange County types in beach communities here all the time, and I just do not relate to the phony attitudes, and blatant drinking in front of their kids! Sorry, Tamra and the rest of you. Please get real! Love, love Rachel Zoe - had to get a plugin for her. She is my absolute favorite of all time. Rachel - get well real soon.

Love to all, Elizabeth Peterson
