Been meaning to plan that Hamptons getaway? Having trouble justifying the price tags on designer labels at Bergdorf and pro tennis lessons at the club? Want a glimpse into the chic and sophisticated lives of Manhattan socialites without having to relocate to the Upper East Side? Good news, your five favorite women of New York social scene are back for a second season of The Real Housewives of NYC on Tuesday, February 17 at 11 p.m. ET/PT following the finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County!
Alex, Bethenny, Jill, LuAnn, and Ramona are back, and will be sharing screen time with a sixth Housewife, notorious Hamptons Magazine columnist, model, designer, and fashion editor, Kelly Killoren Bensimon. Here's to the next season! (Raise your most overpriced drink.)
Welcome Kelly to the melee', wow. Please take me to great parties with pretty people. Life's not easy at this time and I would love to go along if only thru tv. Bethany & Jill, thanks for the laughs and sharing your summer home with us. Brad & Bobby are are a hoot. Boarding schools are a private matter however they are a a great place for kids. Kids begin networking at a young age. Luann, hmm, come on girl, you know better. Let others toot your horn, never correct friends, esp. in public and #1 make all around you comfortable. Is Romona stupid or on drugs? Alex/Simon, wow, what a mess.
I love the show. The people are real. it's like we're spying on them. I want Jill to know her Allison is my favorite teen on TV. You should be proud of her. Her manners, personality are real. Most of the teens on both NY and OC Housewives appear spoiled, poutty, disrespectful and just plain bad.The show should give her more time just to show teens you don't have to be a butt for attention.I loved Bethany's imitation of Jill. It was done with love, and yes Jill you are a hoot.I live in the south and you have the yankee accent and much as mine is southern. Ramona, girl-friend, I hate to break it to you, but time keeps on ticking. Learn to deal with it.Your daughter needs a Mother. She'll have many friends to talk to, but only one Mother. Countess, don't write a book on manners, try reading one first. I love the show enough to watch reruns already.
I agree with what the last comment regarding befriending these women who are tv personalites--with the exception of Jill Zarin. I would be friends with her in a hearbeat. I love her family, especially her mom! I felt a little sad for Bethany when she commented that she didn't have other friends who would offer her a place to stay for the summer like Jill did in the Hamptons. That's just one of the reasons I feel that Jill is the real deal. Love ya Jill!!!
Finally, I'm pleased to see BRAVO has casted Kelly Bensimon.SHe truly represents flawlessly and effortlessly the embodiment of what a true socialite is.. She sets the standard of beauty, class and faboulocity. She truly is the shiniest apple of them all.The rest are an embaressment.
