Padma Lakshmi of Top Chef
Padma Lakshmi is in good company this week. The Top Chef host lands alongside the likes of Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, and Arianna Huffington on a list of "150 Women Who Shake the World," The compilation of political activists, celebs, fashionistas, and general lady bad-asses was put together by Newsweek and Daily Beast editor Tina Brown, and also includes Condoleeza Rice, journalist Lara Logan, Queen Rania of Jordan, and, of course, Oprah. The list coincides with this weekend's 2011 Women in the World Summit, which will feature Madeleine Albright, Diane von Furstenberg, Barbara Walters, Hillary Clinton, and President Bill Clinton among others.

Beyond her work at Judges' Table, Padma was recognized for her work as co-founder of the Endometriosis Foundation of America, a nonprofit organization that fights a disorder that Padma herself has suffered from.
