Quaker Oats Viewer Quickfire Challenge Winner!

After sifting through thousands of recipes, the judges from Bravo selected the top 10 recipes for Americans to vote on. ...Americans voted and decided who the final three would be and NOW we have crowned the first ever Quaker Oats Viewer Quickfire Challenge WINNER - Maurice "Ben" Larimer from Red Bluff, California.

The three finalists went head to head in a heated competition preparing their dishes that highlighted the versatility of the Quaker Oat in front of a live audience. Ben created an Oatmeal Crusted Chili Relleno, stuffed with oatmeal, goat cheese, shrimp and mango with a Green Chili Ranchero Sauce. Emily Hobbs prepared a Oatmeal Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake with Salted Walnut-Oatmeal Praline and Lori Gilmore made Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Onion Strings and Spinach. In the end the judges, Season-Five winner Hosea Rosenberg, Season-Four standout Nikki Cascone and The Quaker Oats Company, Chief Marketing Officer Annie Young-Scrivner found Ben Larimer's unique use of oats and truly creative blend of flavors worthy of the "top" title. Ben won the opportunity to attend the taping of a Top Chef episode. The competition was fierce!
