Rachel Zoe
As if Rachel Zoe ever needs an excuse to sparkle. "New Year's Eve is the most special holiday for fashion because it's your chance to really go for it—the more glitzy and glamorous your look, the better!" the oh-so-chic designer spills to WhoWhatWear.com.

Now chew on this taste of fashion candy. "Obviously, my first instinct on this celebratory occasion is to reach for some sequins. Pull out all the stops in a striking gold sequin dress, asymmetric blush sequin frock or even a backless black sequin number," the Rachel Zoe Project star continues. "No matter the color or silhouette you choose, as long as your dress shines and the fit is right, you are destined to shut it down when the ball drops!"

But what if – gasp! – you don't like high shine? "You can never go wrong with a classic black dress, but I recommend opting for something more than a plain LBD. Think: ruffles, lace or, one of my personal favorite silhouettes, a timeless off-the-shoulder number to keep things interesting."
