Miss Bethenny's trail of tears on last night's NYC? Get the dish on the bridge breakdowns here.

Group hug anyone? That was intense.

Last night on Real Housewives of NYC, Bethenny kept her (literal and figurative) luggage close before she left for California to see her estranged father. As we've found out, Bethenny has had quite the overwhelming year. Between writing her books, developing her relationship with the new Jason, and hearing news about her father, keeping up with the Zarins just wasn't in the cards.

But better late than never, Bethenny arrived at Ramona's apartment this week with an apology card in hand. And this time it was Jill Zarin that was overwhelmed as Bethenny was ready to talk (read: cry) it out. The problem? Jill wasn't in on the invite. Angry and still not ready to forgive, Jill put up a fight. "Who brought her here?" she demanded. Ramona pleaded innocent.

Sure, Jill [and LuAnn were] surprised by the encounter, calling Ramona the "fuel to the fire." But how was Ramona supposed to know that the friendship intervention wouldn't be a hit? At least she tried. And as Ramona reminded us, Jill did the same thing last year with Kelly and Bethenny. Unfortunately, things did not work as smoothly this year.

Is it okay to force a discussion between two feuding friends? By the looks of things, probably not. It seems that a one-sided truce is like a bridge that ends half way. And in NYC, the only bridge Ramona can successfully cross is the one to Brooklyn - but definitely not without a fight.

Oh, Puh-lease!

Every ep of NYC is Bethenny's river of tears or tantrums. Bethenny pouts and everyone sounds the alarm. Jill had real problems with Bobby and was told to toughen up! Bethenny has screamed at the girls, except her therapist, Alex. The show lacks fun and spontaneity because it feels scripted and contrived now...

This is a dark, depressing season of the "Perils of Pauline"; starring Bethenny with a supporting cast of minor walk on speaking roles from the rest of the group. Really, NYC is unwatchable. Jill is getting a bad rap for being caring. So what if she wants to be needed by the down trodden? When Bethenny needed solace and support, Jill's "help" was welcomed. When Jill needed support, Bethenny didn't give a rat's ass until the cameras resumed rolling... Now the entire cast has taken sides: most are with Ms. B! Whenever Bethenny chokes up, the alarms are sounded! When it's Jill in the river of tears; she's thrown an anchor... I never want to hear the word "HOBBY" again!

She did try to help, but she has a crude way of dealing with it. Jill likes the drama, but when its time to hash it out and really delve into why she feels the way she does, she's punking out. She is not a true friend. True friendship is like a mother's love. As children we may say hurtful things to mom, and then go back and apologize. Mom is hurt, but mom forgives, realizing that we are not evil to the core, just capable of losing control of emotions. Jill, is not wise in this way. Shes made a grave decision in not giving Bethenny a pass. People say harsh things in the heat of the moment. Perhaps subconsciously Jill knows she did need to get a life and to stop hovering, but she wasnt ready for Bethennys harsh reality. Its just too bad it worked out this way. Ramona tried, but probably if Luann was a grown mature woman, she would have been the best person to mediate, but she too is acting like a pubescent child.

Jill is a real jerk to treat bethenny that way. You see the jelious in her eyes. as both luann and Jill look her up and down.

Bethany is my all time reason for watching this show and now I'm glad she will soon have her own spin off(eat your heart out JIll the Pill). I am so disappointed that Luann has shown her true colors, i use to be fond of her I'm ashamed to say. I kinda feel sorry for someone that has to lie, and act like an overbearing control freak to get a friend. watch out Jill Pill, she'll turn on you too, oh maybe not just like you called out to Bethany, the Countless is staying at your apartment and Bobby is footing her bill, are you starting an account for her friendship too?

I think Jill just wont listen. I dont know why everyone is picking on Bethany. I think Bethany just says it like it is good for her! Ramona needs a psch eval one moment she is fine then she is crazt! As for Luann and Kelly they are so self centered that I'm shocked they have kids!

Ramona had a good idea. From her perspective it should have worked. What she didn't recall was last year's showdown (arranged by Jill) between B & Kelly didn't work out either! Bethenny always needs an enemy. That's how she functions (or disfunctions)...

btw: Bethenny came to "hash it out" while JIll didn't get the "make-up memo". If "B" wanted to apologize, she should have. "I'm sorry" would have taken 2 seconds and broken the ice faster than her long harangue of how Jill did this or said that. She's just a manipulative player. Maybe her father didn't appreciate being slandered on national tv for the past 3 years! The show has taken a nosedive with the constant "Perils of Pauline" theme starring Bethenny and the rest of the cast are reduced to small speaking walk on parts.

There are too many cooks in this emotional kitchen! LuAnn your eavesdropping was base and leads many to question your integrity. Let Jill speak to Bethenny...your job as a friend is to listen to Jill and reflect her feelings...not add fuel to this fire.

There seems to be too many cooks in the emotional kitchen at Ramona's...I find Luanne's eavesdropping on Jill and Bethanny to be tasteless and condescending to Jill...your morals are in question in my mind. Not to mention that Bethanny wasn't there to speak with LuAnne...are you kidding...LuAnn, Jill is an adult...stay out of it. Who is LuAnn to interfere with Jill and Bethanny's discussion? Why don't you have the courtesy to wait until Bethanny leaves to listen to your friend and reflect her feelings? I think that Bethanny and Jill need a truly private conversation, maybe with a therapist..their childish reactions show a lack of integrityand a bit of emotional confusion.

If things are "done" between Jill and Bethenny, why is Jill always needing to hear every news, action, gossip about Bethenny. Personally, if the friendship was "over and done", I could care-less about the other person's wereabouts, etc.(!)

I hope there is enough soul left in Jill's, that after she sees herself in this episode, she comes to grips on how petty she truly is, and understands friendships are not for her! You don't know how to be a friend to anyone except to yourself,as only the two of you can tolerate each other. If seeing is believing: Just wait and see how long you and Luann remain BFF's!

A far as i'm concerned, everyone should get a hobby. I'm exhausted with bethenny and jill's fight. They'll either work it out or don't. I don't pick sides because it's between them. Regardless of each other's behavior and how we think how childish they're acting. It's their business and we have no idea what else has happened that caused their rift. Let's see more form them, more of the positive. because im EXHAUSTED lol. We as viewers are entitled to our opinions but we only see what they let us see. I'll still watch but im so over it lol

Jill was my fav housewife until this season. Jill is being way harsh with Bethany and if she is writing down all the comments that offend her; Bethany's right, Jill does need to get a hobby. Shame on you, Jill. You're a grown woman acting like a spoiled brat. Ramona needs to see a counselor to help her learn to use the filter in her brain before she speaks. As for the Countess and Kelly, these 2 ladies are two of the most narcissistic personalities on TV. I'm glad Alex is there for Bethany. Alex appears to be a very caring person and Bethany is hilarious when she isn't having to fight off pit vipers.
