Richard Blais may have won over the judges during last night's Top Chef All-Stars finale, but who won the hearts and stomachs of Top Chef fans?
In what shaped up to be the biggest Fan Favorite race in Top Chef history, Carla Hall edged out Fabio Viviani for the honor (and the $10,000 that goes with it). Andy Cohen revealed the winner live during last night's special Watch What Happens Live Top Chef after show in New York, piping in Carla from the Chicago location of our coast-to-coast viewing party. (See what other Bravolebrities came out for the Top Chef finale in our red carpet photos.)
Carla made it deep into the All-Stars competition and seemed destined for the finals before being banished in the Bahamas by undercooked pork (check out photos from Carla's Season 8 send-off). At the time, Carla told us, "I think everything I got from this experience was a gain... I don't think that you can go through this experience without getting something out of it personally." And last night, she got a little something more: in addition to the title and the payday, the win also gave Carla a measure of revenge -- she lost the Fan Favorite title to Fabio when the two were initially contestants on Season 5 of Top Chef.

I'm so glad Carla won. I was very disappointed when she was eliminated so, good for Carla!! My next favorite is Antonia. Hope to see more of them.
Carla was my favorite even in the first season. I was sooooooo happy she took the title. Carla helped everyone else and NEVER spoke trash of her constituents. Also, she was upbeat and put a smile on my face each week. Her humor and and kindness shone through each week. P.S. Her husband is a verrrrry hot guy. I adore her and I hope she will compete in yet another Top Chef season (maybe fan favorites, when the numbers get higher). We would LOVE to see her again soon in any format.
Carla had to be fan favorite this time. I have enjoyed this season more than any other simply because of the contestants, and Carla was a big part of that. Although I want to eat in Richard's, Mike's, and Tiffany's (first eliminated Tiffany) restaurants, I would like to have dinner with Carla and her family. Chicken pot pie and laughter. What fun!
