Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, a founding member of successful 90's R&B group Exscape and a songwriter whose credits include the TLC hit "No Scrubs," is quite accomplished in the music business. But it appears a new star is emerging in the family.

Kandi took to YouTube Wednesday to post a recent video of her 12-year-old daughter Riley performing "I'll Be There" by Tiffany Evans. (Check it out below.) The video reveals a mature and controlled vocal performance that may surprise fans who've watched Riley grow up on RHOA.

According to Kandi, Riley attended a performing arts camp this summer and the song was part of her work there. "Riley is really shy but she did an awesome job & I was so proud of her!" wrote Kandi. "I have to share this although she doesn't like for people to know she can sing. #ProudMom"

Whether or not Riley has her heart set on a career in music remains to be seen, but, should she decide to go that route, she'll join a fellow Housewife off-spring in her pursuits.

Teresa Giudice just announced that her 13-year-old Gia has formed a pop group, 3KT, with two of her best friends. 3KT is in the studio recording and has already filmed a music video.
