Rosie Pople on Royal Baby Names

All hail the future King—or Queen—[insert name here.]

“I do imagine Kate and William will stay traditional,” Pregnant in HeelsRosie Pope makes her prediction to OK! Magazine for the future monarch’s moniker. “They are very traditional people.”

And likely to look within the family for baby name inspiration. “They will probably choose a successful monarch, whether a woman or a man,” Rosie, who was born in London, says while adding a disclaimer. “They will obviously not choose someone who’s had their head cut off or something terrible happen to them.”

Eek, good call, Ro. Just like his or her pops, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, and uncle Prince Henry Charles Albert David, our maternity maven believes Duchess Kate’s bundle of joy will also bear four names. “I’m sure one of their names will also be a nod to Princess Diana.”

And not that money’s an issue, but Rosie has pound saving advice for the former Ms. Middleton. “There are some things that Kate should splurge on. So while having King Louis’ crib could be amazing, I doubt it’s safe. She should splurge on a safe crib, a safe place for the baby to sleep. She should skimp on some other things. For example, sterilizing bottles. She can sterilize them in the microwave.”
