The New York Housewife has plans to design an affordable dress line.
Sonja Morgan knows that — even if you’re strapped for cash—you shouldn’t skimp on looking fabulous.
"I want to do special occasion dresses that everyone can afford and will never go out of style," The Real Housewives of New York star reveals to RadarOnline.
The designer hopeful even admits a high-fashion trick hiding up her sleeve. "I've gone to a lot of fancy dinners with royalty and with the Churchills and Prince Albert, and I can't keep going out and buying dresses. One of my secrets is that I would run over to Bloomingdale’s with my girlfriends and we would go to the prom and wedding sections. You get fabulous dresses for $150 to $200—some even with accents like fur trim—and they're very elegant with low-cut décolletage.”
So we’re not rubbing elbows with royalty like Ms. Morgan (sorry, Countess!), but we appreciate a sweet fashion find just the same.
“When you're wearing Valentino or Dolce & Gabbana people know it, and when you're wearing what I'm talking about they're not quite sure what you're wearing, but they think it looks great,” she spills.
Sonja, we didn’t think it was possible to love you more, but now we kinda do.
