How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

When she's not starring on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder writes regularly about fashion for The Divine Addiction. So who better to judge the best red carpet looks from last night's Emmy Awards? Below, she weighs in with her picks.

Best Dressed: Zoey Deschanel
For years I have been anxiously anticipating the unlocking of Zoey Deschanel's inner sex kitten. Boy, has it been worth the wait. The New Girl star's icy blue J. Mendel gown highlights her assets without sacrificing her adorable quirkiness. The voluminous hair and bedroom eyes are perfection with her Chanel tourmaline cocktail ring. Star power at its finest.

Best Dressed: Padma Lakshmi
Here is a woman after my own heart. Padma masters a look that is both sleek and ethereal in this KaufmanFranco gown. As someone who has a personal mild obsession with gold accessories, I just cant get enough of this Bravo star's ensemble.

emmys-2013-allison-williams.jpg

Best Dressed: Allison Williams
I've always been partial to a classic silhouette in an eye-catching color, and Williams shows us that this is a fool proof way to impress. She displays her natural beauty with her relaxed tousled waves and fresh-faced makeup. The Ralph Lauren dress paired with clean and sophisticated Fred Leighton jewels exhibits the "less is more" attitude in the chicest way possible.

emmys-2013-rose-byrne.jpg

Best Dressed: Rose Byrne
Byrne is staying on the edge of fashion with her midriff baring pale rose gown by Calvin Klein. This streamlined look is perfectly complimented by her romantic newly blonde chop and dainty jewels. A+!

emmys-2013-kaley-cuoco_0.jpg

Best Dressed: Kaley Cuoco
Kaley clearly got the memo regarding the tousled loose waves, but she certainly stood out with that wine-hued Vera Wang gown. With the see-through bone corset bodice, the dress hung from her hips with the perfect amount of ruched detail. This look was definitely The Big Bang of the night.

emmys-2013-carrie-underwood.jpg

Worst Dressed: Carrie Underwood
Carrie, when a bride says, "And you can wear it again," about your metallic purple taffeta bridesmaid dress, the Emmys is never an option. Or any where else, for that matter. In addition, the "something borrowed" aspect need not apply here. Give your aunt her necklace back.

emmys-2013-julianne-hough.jpg

Worst Dressed: Julianne Hough
Poor Julianne. She must be reminiscent of her days on Dancing with the Stars. While she certainly has the body to pull this off, the Emmy Awards are a far cry from the ballroom floor. Her hair and makeup were on point, yet I couldn't help but feel let down by the dress that accompanied it. Try again.

emmys-2013-amanda-peet_0.jpg

Worst Dressed: Amanda Peet
Where do I begin? This ill-fitting monstrosity of a dress doesn't do her natural beauty any justice. I applaud anyone who dares to push the envelope, but unfortunately Tim Burton called, and he even said "Nope."

emmys-2013-amy-poehler.jpg

Worst Dressed: Amy Poehler
Amy Poehler has always made me laugh, but rarely has she made me cringe in such a way that I did tonight. And... not even in Baby Mama. Did she just come off of a shift from P.F. Changs? Memoirs of a Geisha much? Amy looks absolutely stunning, but dragons on a dress? Just no.

 emmys-2013-cat-deeley.jpg

Worst Dressed: Cat Deeley
Everyone listen up! Cat Deeley is now starring as Darth Vader in the new Star Wars Vegas show at the MGM. I've always wanted to hear, "Luke, I am your father," in an English accent, so I want season tickets. This statuesque beauty delivered a very sleek sultry look with her hair and makeup but was overshadowed by this black sequined costume.

What do you think of Stassi's picks? And what were your fave (and least liked) Emmy looks? Tell us in the comments.
