Have you been one of the lucky ones to enjoy a meal at Top Chef Kitchen? Well, even if you weren't able to score a reservation or don't live in/near New York, we want to take you inside so that you know what it's all about (or so you can lie and say you went). So, to accommodate, we asked Top Chef star Edward Lee to give our fans a bit of a guided tour.
Lee, who cooked alongside Mike Isabella for the eatery's first week, puts on his best hosting hat and takes you inside the totally-transformed space (which went from old dingy restaurant to chic hotspot in a month), showing you not just the kitchen, but also the dining room, bar and everything else in between. When have you gotten such an intimate view of a hot restaurant before? Probably never, but hey, Bravo is here to make the impossible happen.
Aside from the tour, we also caught up with Ed and Mike to talk about what they thought of the restaurant, what their mindset was getting ready to cook in New York City on a pretty major stage and what dishes they were especially proud of. Watch below, and be sure to visit TopChefKitchenNYC to try to snag a last-minute reservation from some sucker who had to cancel. Oh, also check out our interview from earlier this week with Paul Qui and Tiffany Derry, who are on the line this week!
