Her house in the Jersey Shore was hit by the destructive storm.

Millions have been hit hard by the destruction Hurricane Sandy brought to the East Coast, and it seems that Teresa Giudice's house in the Jersey Shore was among the many that got whalloped.

Teresa Giudice's Shore House After Sandy

Teresa took to Twitter to post photos from her Beach Haven West house -- which is about 30 miles south of the devastated city of Seaside Heights and was seen during this past season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey -- and while it's tough to see if there's any major structural damage to the posh house, the interior definitely took a beating. The kitchen was left in disarray from flood waters, as Teresa showed in one photo, showing what seems to be a dishwasher flipped over on its side among other items, with sand and water still visible on the floor.

Earlier this year, Teresa gave BravoTV an exclusive guided tour inside of her shore digs -- take a look below at what it looked like before the storm.

In another photo, their wooden fence was also damaged.

Teresa also tweeted words of support for everyone struggling to recover and comprehend the widespread damage, saying: "Thinking of everyone who has a long day's work in front of them, cleaning, repairing and wondering what they are going to do."

i know theresa got some damage to her jersey shore house but i havent seen any of her castmates volunteering their time, their catering business or contracting businesses or black water business giving to the less fortunate in this storm. like years ago when carol lombard, clark gable and other stars helping with their sweat why arent these realty stars pitching in. you may say it would take away from the work to be done if they arrived but believe me,if they came with their jeans and shovel or some cookied trays from their cook books or from ones bakery business...any of them could make a difference.imagine if the brownstoner was offering free food to people or the manzos doing labor like they did in the tug of war contest.id love to see some celebrities show they are real people and help

We gave to help the people that have been affected by this terrible hurricane and continue to give what we can .We don't own a summer home or boats or even two vehicles .We my husband  and I live pay check to pay check both working 40 hours weekly or more if the over time is there .We have three children  two in college and all I am saying is I hope the money we give are not going to help people with there expensive summer homes or  big luxurious boats or boats in general .If you have the money to afford these frills in life you should have the money to be well insured and not need to take .We have no problem helping, we want to do our part  for the ones who really need. So in conclusion Mrs. Giudice and others similar with  luxury's  I am sorry and hope you get  your life back in order but please don't take from the people who really need, Not that you have I am just saying.

I understand they were 11 million in debt because of their greed. They call this their Beach home? No wonder many don't sympathize.

Teresa is the one who complained she missed her Gym workout and promotional appearance because of the storm. Jeez

There is nothing wrong with Teresa sharing with us all. I am sure she was being tweeted over and over! So she updated people.

I also don't like some of the posters are saying careless things "such as so and so losses were WORSE". I have been thru to many hurricanes, to ever hear that from anyone. No hurricane  survivor COMPARES LOSSES!

Looks like Ramona, Teresa, Dina, Jacqueline, the Manzo family and I am sure all the rest of these housewives are doing their part to help the victims of this hurricane.  Contact your local Red Cross or authorities and see how you can help.

Thanks for sharing, so glad you all are safe.

regardless of anyone's wealth or non-wealth... suffering damage due to Sandy was tragic...  however, the damage T decided to share with us appears  pale in comparison to my cousins home with two neighboring boats stranded in her yard, HER fence living in the ocean somewhere, and 4 feet of water in her kitchen ... now subsided leaving inches of thick mud... I feel T's attempt to "join" the rest of humanity proving she suffers like the 'po folk is superficial. her comments vain...   I think if she forfeited the photos and just reached out to people with her heart expressing her fortune of family being okay and praying or just wishing wonderful things and strength to her fellow NJ and NY folk would have gone miles further than showing her dishwasher or fridge tipped over.... that's my thought and I'm sticking with it

Not wishing ill will, but I thought you would not live in anyone else's house. That it would be to dirty/

Teresa....I'm keeping you, your family and the entire cast in my prayers during this most difficult time....How are your parents handling things?  Stay Positive!!!

Way to go, Teresa-- she'll do anything to get some attention and sympathy. She's got the money to make the repairs to the shore house. And another house to live in. Many other homeowners don't.

It's going to be a lot of hard work in the days, weeks and months ahead. The sooner you all can get there and begin removing everything that was water logged the better. I live in Louisiana and the rule of thumb is to throw out anything that came in contact with the  water. To get up all carpets and wet sheet rock quickly and to wash everything down with Chlorine and try to stop the mold, before it can begin. Good Luck and thank you for sharing!

its funny how she has to make the story about herself first and then sends out her support...she used to be a favorite of mine, but not anymore, she is just a self involved airhead that only cares about fame

That's not a dishwasher.  It's a side by side refridgerator.  Weird that it knocked over the fridge and didn't knock all that stuff off the counter.  Mother nature!

The same can be said about Teresa, what has she been doing to help those who are in dire need? Where are her cookies, Joe's equipment, her wine, or any of her other products being offered to those in need? I'd rather see those who really need help who don't have the funds to pay for their damages that are much worse helped instead of ANY of the Housewives from any of the shows.

BUT....we have no idea what any of these 'reality people' are actually doing, I'm sure the media has more important things to cover than what the Housewives are doing, or not doing right now.

I agree with you completely, help those who have NOTHING.....not a summer home on the beach that looks to be in pretty good shape considering what the other places shown on tv look like. I'd say Tre got off light with damages if all she had was a tumbled over refrigerater.

My sympathy and funds need to go to those who are in need the most, and have the least to pay for it. Also, Juicy Joe has his own equipment and that is what he does for a living, so is HE out helping others?

@allydachie Of course they compare losses, some are affected more severely than others and are in need of help. what is wrong with realizing some are affected more severely than others?

@jellybeanjeannie Well let's just hope you never have to be judge by someone like you in your lifetime.....Very sad indeed!

@jellybeanjeannie If you we're a T fan and not a petty hateful person that would be your view of her actions. Came to check on her, not deal with your type. Pretty low...

@stretch5169  You actually took the time to write this type of comment in times like these..... When so many people have taken a lost whether it was there personal effects or property. Some have even lost there lives and families are devastated, I would think that this is not a time to make a snarly remark to some reality star just because you may dislike her. I hope that Teresa and her family along with all of the cast members and everyone else that has been affected by this storm all of the best in the upcoming month's.

Sounds like you want to see more damage, suppose the building structure wasn't safe and that's all there is to it.

@janb55 Wow really...she was not trying to diminish anyone's loss she was just simply sharing her loss with the public...you need to take a chill pill and be thankful is was not you!!!!!

didleesquat

In the video posted, the kids were hand washing the dishes anyway, so the dishwasher should not be a big loss to them. Lol....I think that's the frig you see tumbled over which is surprising considering that things are still sitting on the counter.

@janetz well said... it's horrible...  in one moment my entire family is in the path of destruction ... and in that moment I realize how small we really are.

prayers and strength to all that have suffered through this...

@lindahwi ....and she is showing us chubby Joe's boat that was moved by the storm to the other side of the yard. Oh the humanity!!!!!!!!

Ann1970
Ann1970

@lindahwi How did she make anything about her first...get over your animosity towards a reality star that you don't even know personally ....in times like these it baffles my mind how people continue to belittle and question another person's character  while accusing the other person of doing the same and that is why they dislike them...ridiculous!

Ann1970
Ann1970

@SheriSR That just means the rush of water was lower than the counter height...

Absolutely, some lost so much more than others and instead of posting a pic with very little damage done by the pic she chose to post, she should have just said how lucky her family was for having such minor damages. If that was the worst portion of the 'summer' home, then she should be thanking the Lord and helping others.

didleesquat
didleesquat

@EllieJ  @allydachie I agree, while some have NO home to go home to at all, she really shouldn't even be mentioning, much less posting her 'beach house' problems. She should just be thankful she has another home. Didn't look like much damage done to it.

[karenmary & Nic01]

hateful?  I don't think so. and as far as being judged... I, like everyone else in the country / world ARE being judged on their deeds.... I hope someone does calls me out for something I do that may appear insensitive or wrong... I would learn from that, change the behavior and move on...

I was commenting on what I thought was insensitive behavior...I surely wouldn't be crying on the shoulder of a friend about my kids misbehaving when they lost their son... as a matter of fact that friends hardship would have just reminded me how darn lucky I am...

To me that's pretty much what posting those photos were...a slap in the face...  so many have no home to celebrate thanksgiving this year and a pushed over fence in a second home really seems pale in comparison... how is that judging... how is that being hateful.

didleesquat

Why would you think anyone was only speaking about T just because the pic came from her? I feel that way about all the HW's and the lavish lifestyles they live. Money received should go to those who lost more, and need more....not the ones who can afford to fix their own things. Besides that, isn't that what Joe does for a living, restore and fix buildings?

@Ann1970  @janb55 wow really?! i'm sure everyone appreciates the great loss of her refrigerator and feels teresa's pain. How will she ever recover???  I for one appreciate her sharing her grave loss and pain

EllieJ

@Ann1970 @lindahwi Teresa has shown her character for all to see when she makes remarks that can't be repeated because they are so disgusting. Don't have to know her. She has children exposed to her jealous hateful behavior.

didleesquat

The pic she chose to post makes it hard to tell what the mess is. It's the angle the pic is taken from. If she had taken the pic at the side of the frig and dishwasher then it wouldn't be so hard to tell what it is. The dishwasher is not even recognizible from the angle the pic is taken from.

My heart goes out to those in NY who are still without power, and the cold weather they are enduring. They are the ones who are in need of help! And I'm not talking about the HW's who most all have other homes to go to.

SheriSR

@i-watch-allhousewives  Well I was trying to be nice and not insulting when pointing out that it was a fridge.  I didn't feel it was appropriate to degrade someones intelligence at this time.

@D79Amber @Ann1970 @janb55 ITA, I couldn't stand Teresa before the storm?......I'm not about to hold great sympathy for her because her Fridge tipped over. ( if it is her Fridge)
