The Countess: How to Avoid a Moroccan Meltdown

LuAnn's tips for your next trip abroad.

By Lauren Metz

After labeling Ramona Singer's vacation couture as more appropriate for Girls Gone Wild than Morocco, LuAnn de Lesseps is laying down the law when it comes to having good manners abroad.

"When traveling with a large group in a foreign country, it's very important to respect the culture and manners of your hosts by dressing appropriately and by learning a few basic conversational phrases before you go," the Real Housewives of New York City star shares in her latest column for OK! Magazine. "Knowing how to say 'hello,' 'goodbye,' 'please' and 'thank you' will smooth your way with the locals."

And while you're staying in a different country, ditch the mysterious act. "If you decide to go sightseeing without your entourage, let someone know where you'll be and when you'll return," she writes. Could this be directed at Sonja and Ramona, who bounced away from LuAnn's Moroccan retreat almost as soon as the maid was done untangling R's jewelry?

What do you think? Is LuAnn's advice on the money? Start a Tweet Battle, and make your case.
