Vicki Gunvalson: 'The Truth Will Soon Be Told' About Brooks
The OC 'Wife responds to the recent 20/20 story slamming her man Brooks Ayers.

The old saying of don't believe everything you read also applies to TV, according to Vicki Gunvalson -- and the Real Housewives of Orange County star isn't talking about her Bravo show. In fact, she's responding to a one-sided hit piece on her boyfriend Brooks Ayers that recently ran on 20/20.
In the statement given to The Dish, Vicki says "there is a lot that's been said in the media that simply isn’t true," and she urges her fans to know that despite the recent reports and stories about her personal life, she's doing just fine.
"I appreciate all the fans who’ve sent me kind words of support, and while I can understand that people may be angry or confused by what the media has told them, I want my fans to know that I am strong, and smart and love my family very much. To any detractors out there—you only see one side of the media story and the truth will soon be told," Vicki said in the statement.
And while legally she can't say much about the Brooks situation, she did say that they are still "just dating and living separately" and that "Brooks and his Attorney are currently responding to the recent media story."
The 20/20 segment featured an interview with the mother of Brooks' child, largely claiming that Brooks hasn't paid child support and left her after the baby was born.
why is gretchen so mad at vicki about saying she cheated. that was her new bestie that was always talking that smack. tamra can only have one friend at a time and so can gretchen. i am glad andy pointed out that tamra was the one that started saying gretchen was cheating. its about time he spoke up against the mean girls
A part of me feels bad for Vicki because she craves love and affection and she gets it from Brooks. Any guy that ever watched the show in the past knows the way to Vickis heart. She has worked too hard for what she has and I hate to see her lose anything because of her latest relationship. I am horrified to hear that Don cheated for 20 years I always felt so bad for the abuse he took. Vicki please use your head to evaluate your relationship!

If Brooks really loved you he would either clear up the mess or walk away so your not beaten up so much,, thats love
Vicki, You are grown enough to make your own choices, so be happy your way. My only thought is.. I hope Mr right isn't passing you by while your busy with Brooks.. that would be a shame. food for thought is all
Vicki has been so mean and judgmental that I cannot blame the other ladies for being angry. Brooks creeps me out and he seems so phony. I think Vicki is very hypocritical . If your own adult has that strong of a negative opinion about him speaks loudly. She should try being alone for awhile and find out who she is.
I guess it boils down to one can be smart, successful and still be extremely desperately dumb and needy. When it is all said and done, I am sure your children and friends will be there to pick you up. It is just hard for them to watch someone they love become so weak and brain washed by a con artist. There is no way everyone, including the ex's of this man can be wrong...like you have said, "if it stinks"...and from all appearances he is a skunk. This is just too sad to watch.

Vicki that was a reckless one sided story about Brooks!! Shame on 20 20!!!! I do however understand your daughters concerns with him!!! Tamra on the other hand is just a bad friend! girl code 101 don't get in between your friends and their man!!! I actually had to turn the channel when Gretchen gave Tamra that bracelet at the name change party..It disgusts me.. Tamra is that type of girl that can only have one friend. you know the mean girl type... It was very frustrating to watch the reunion!!! all those mean girls do is make passive aggressive comments and than deny deny deny!!! Did Heather seriously have the nerve to call out Alexis for talking about her??????? I mean really??? she talked smack about alexis pretty much every episode.. As did Tamra and Gretchen!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Vicki truth be know the only bully I have ever seen on this show is VICKI along with being two faced and most of all a huge instigator. You know darn good and well taking Alexis to Tamra's party would cause a big problem. You got what you wanted, own up to it. I have never commented on any of the housewives blogs and believe me out of all the shows I only dislike one housewife more than Vicki. Alexis so now I think I will go comment how I feel about your next best friend.
